#NEW | The Ruling on Digitally Altered Vocals & Imitating Musical Sounds | Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله) | #AskAMJ A new #IslamQA in which Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril حفظه الله answers a question regarding the ruling on digitally altered vocals and imitating…
The question asked was not included as it was posed to the Shaykh by another party, we only received the audio answer to publish. Shaykh Ahmad حفظه الله mentioned that he gets questions regarding the issue discussed in the video frequently, so it's a very relevant issue and a widespread problem. Insha'Allah the Shaykh's answer will be of benefit to those who were confused regarding the ruling on it.
In the coming months we plan to release a couple more audio answers we received of the Shaykh on some beneficial and important topics insha'Allah, alongside with the video Q&A we promised, which will be going up first bi'idhnillah. (Teaser: It's the longest single video released since the last part of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah Series 👀)
May Allah تعالى make them all beneficial and accept from the Shaykh the massive service he's doing to the Ummah of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, and the Muslims in the West specifically.

How to Climb the Ladder of Knowledge by Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril
"There's a saying that food for adults kills toddlers. A toddler can't digest delicious, healthy food that older people consume. Skipping steps when climbing the ladder will make you fall. The point being is that 'Ulamā' wrote for various levels of knowledge…

Everyone in Da’wah needs to come together and offer what they can to the Deen of Allah, whether it be graphic design, translation, creating snippets of scholars work, or whatever they have the skill set to offer.
It’s important that we all come together and support each other, as Allah says:
وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ
Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-
Taqwâ (virtue, righteousness and piety)
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
It’s been really great as of late, brothers and sisters offering their services and insight, into furthering the Da’wah of Tawheed, May Allah reward and preserve you all.

How much our sisters compromise on Halāl and Harām for the sake of a worldly education that will not follow them to the grave nor help them in it, but will rather harm their hereafter. Things like removing or compromising Hijāb, free mixing in schools, studying Harām, all for the sake of a degree that Allāh never obligated upon her. Is a degree worth the desecration of your Hayā’ and earning the displeasure of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى?

Qur’ānic Etiquette: Euphemisms
| Shaykh Ahmad Jibril (حفظه الله)
The trannoscript of a lecture in which Shaykh Ahmad Jibril (حفظه الله) discusses a method used by Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) in the Qur'ān, when Teaching us matters that may be bashful or reprehensible. Because the Qur’ān is the summit of manners and eloquency, there's something called Kināyah (euphemism). Kināyah is where you hint to or substitute a term with another, that’s not specific for that matter.
"The Qur’ān is the word of Allāh, and it’s perfected in every way, and it's in the highest of all standards. And so we should learn its style in our speech, especially as Talabat ‘Ilm. We’re talking about the choice of words in the context of teaching... 'bashful Fiqh matters'."

Given the large gap between the first exam that was a comprehensive review of lectures 1-8 of Furu' Al-Fiqh, and the most recent lecture that is #23, there will be no lectures posted for the next few weeks to provide students with sufficient time to review lectures 9-23 to prepare for a final exam. May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) grant us all Tawfīq and beneficial knowledge.

A GEM IN OUR MIDST
Very few people can light up a room with their smile and laugh. Even fewer, who do so whilst having experienced some of the most hostile treatment by the disbelievers for being upon The pure path of Tawheed. We truly have a Gem in our midst. Only a legend raises a legend like Shaykh Ahmad حفظه الله تعالى.
I ask Allah to protect and preserve the two Shaykhs, and allow us to benefit from their knowledge and wisdom.
If you haven’t already gone through this series, then you are missing out. A wonderful and heart touching series by Shaykh Musa حفظه الله تعالى, that was released in Ramadan 2021 and the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, that’s easily one of the best series I’ve ever listened to, Allahumma Bārek Lahu.

كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ۬ ذَآٮِٕقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ
(Everyone shall taste death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.)
Meaning, wherever you are, death will catch up with you, so always obey Allah and be where Allah commands you to be, for this is better for you. Death is inevitable and there is no escape from it, and then you will return to Allah, and whoever was obedient to Him will have the best reward. [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
How often it happens that a people discuss death and the moment of it while oblivious to how near it is to them. They depart from their gathering under the impression that it is far, yet one of them misses it by inches just mere moments later. How many times have we been in a setting, while totally unaware that The Angel of Death was also present? Perhaps not to take us, but one day he will be there not for someone else, but for you. Don’t wait to miss death by inches to become certain of the fact that it certainly can and will strike you any day or moment.
May Allāh سبحانه وتعالى only take us when He is pleased with us, and grant us the best of endings.

Patience in Da'wah is Special
"Most trials you cannot avoid. Sometimes patience is almost forced on you and you have no choice. For example death – Muslim, righteous, evil, non-believer, atheist, Jew or Christian, everyone goes through that and they are tested with that. Loss of wealth – everyone gets tested with it. Marital problems – everyone goes through that. There is nothing special about that.
Patience in Da’wah, that is special. Being steadfast on your Deen and being patient on that, that is special. Why? Because the other ones you cannot avoid, whereas this one you can usually avoid. If you are tested, you have the chance and opportunity to leave or even avoid it before it even starts. You can say "I am done. My Salah is causing me problems at work, so I am done with my Salah at work and I will go combine all five Salah after Ishaa’ when I get home. My Da’wah is causing me to be under scrutiny or possibly even worse, so I am going to sit back with my wife and kids." That is why this is the most noble type of patience, because it is suffering in the path of Allah. This is the most noble type of suffering, because it is suffering in the path of Allah and you are patient with it. You are patient by choice and not by force. It is the special ones that Allah has a place for in Firdaws that their deeds may not get them to as we mentioned, so these kinds of trials are what Allah is using to raise your rank to be close to Him and to be near al-‘Arsh."

"As a Da’iyah, be like Ibrahim. He sacrificed himself to fire, he sacrificed his food for his guests, and he submitted his son to sacrifice. You give, you give, you give, and never ever expect or ask anything. Be exemplary and refuse any reward. If anything, expect harm in return. Give, give, give, be patient over trials and you will get the ultimate reward from Allah سبحانه و تعالى."
