Shaykh ‘Alī al-Khudayr (فك الله أسره) was asked about the ruling on online chat rooms which are run by students of knowledge and Shuyūkh, and in the comments, there are men and women speaking.
Shaykh ‘Alī al-Khudayr replied by saying, “I don’t view that allowed, rather women are supposed to discuss with women, and men are supposed to discuss with men, as the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) even stated something much less than this;
“The best rows for men (in prayer) are the front rows and the worst rows are at the back. And the best rows for women are at the end, and the worst rows are at the front.”
And it’s well-known that men avoiding non-mahram women is from the objectives of the Sharī’ah, no matter what type of da’wah is being done.
And no exception is made except for Fiqh questions with the scholars. As for discussions and writings, going back and forth, then this doesn’t have a maslaha for everyone.
Allāh says, “And remain in your houses.”

“It's not befitting of sisters to be engaging back and forth in debates with strange men all over social media and in every comments section. Yes, women have a duty to forbid evil, no doubt, but be careful sisters, because many times men will drag on these conversations just to get you to engage with them more and more and to push you to interact with them. Once you've opened the gate of argumentation, they'll feel more welcome to comment and message things (because they know you'll respond). One comment is more than sufficient, and indirect refutations are great too and probably better. Most sisters don't have Mahārim watching over their accounts to keep them in check, so Fitnah can possibly arise very easily when she gets to interacting with men. And when it comes to men who have deviant and perverted 'Aqeedah in the first place, advising them or arguing with them in their comments is humiliating oneself, as they have no limits in regards to respect, and debates with them are futile due to the darkness that has engulfed their hearts.
Generally, arguments/debates with men should be left to the brothers and sisters handle the women. There's plenty of evil going around amongst them that needs to be forbidden insha'Allah, and you're more suited to doing that. If freely and frequently conversing with brothers is not permitted for Da'wah or discussing 'Ilm, then it's even more dangerous when going back and forth for debating or refuting. WAllahu A'lam.”

Shaykh Bakr Abū Zayd’s (رحمه الله تعالى) stern Fatwa against parents who willingly send their children to Western schools/public schools in the West.
“Whoever willingly places his children in schools knowing those schools have curriculums and activities that will take the children out of their Deen, or will instill doubts in their ‘Aqeedah, then that person is a Murtadd (an apostate), as many 'Ulamā' have stated.”

JACKETS & JILBĀB?
The shoulders, chest, arms, and back of a Muslimah are all ‘Awrah that must be concealed. Not just the skin, but also the shape & size. Wearing a jacket/coat over the Khimār instead of under it, defeats the purpose of the Khimār (to conceal the shape & size of the upper body).

American “Muslims” will cancel Thanksgiving due to its genocidal roots, but not because the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbid celebrating the holidays of Jahiliyyah and commanded us to be different from the disbelievers.
To most, being “woke” and politically correct is more important than being Muslim. Your Dhabīha Turkey doesn’t make it Halāl!

Stop fooling yourself. That’s celebration. Call it whatever you want, that doesn’t change the reality. May Allāh guide us!

"When it came to Hijāb, Mama was never one of those women who made excuses. Although she didn’t wear the Niqāb for many years after immigrating, she used to cover her face when she lived back home, and she portrayed it to us as something lofty and praiseworthy that every woman needs to do. I never saw her wearing it, but because of the love she instilled in my heart for it, I always used to ask her as a 6 or 7 year-old “Mama, why don’t you wear Niqāb anymore?” She would never respond “Oh child, it's not mandatory” or “there’s a difference of opinion” or “I’m wearing a scarf and Abayah and that’s enough”, but rather she would sigh and say, “Make Du’ā for me, that Allah gives me Tawfeeq to wear it.” I had great love for the covering because of her portrayal and love of it, and I would always tell her, “When I grow up, I’m going to wear Niqāb”. It was one of my biggest aspirations, I couldn’t contain my excitement for that day. Mama would always smile approvingly. When she came to know it was obligatory however, she put it on in a split second, she heard and she obeyed, by Allah. I can never forget that zeal and that immediate response to Allah’s command. She faced a lot from people due to her Niqāb, but she never left it and only increased in her covering. She was resilient in the face of opposition to it, and she set an example for her daughters and other women, teaching them to cling to their covering the way one would cling to their life, and setting an even broader example for all her children, that ‘we hear and we obey’, not ‘we hear and we delay’.
Other mothers around us had their young daughters in tank tops and shorts throughout their childhood, citing that they’re young and it's so hot, or that the kids at school would taunt them. These mothers expected their daughters to become modest overnight as soon as they hit puberty, and to their shock, that would never happen. But Mama didn’t do that. She made sure all of her daughters began covering their hair at around 8 years old, and she abhorred western fashion that encouraged indecency and nudity even in children. She never bought jeans for her young daughters except that they were multiple sizes larger or from the boys section, so that they would fit loosely. On top of that, she would buy them long shirts or dress-like tops to cover everything. As they neared womanhood, she transitioned them to Abayahs only and further down, full Niqāb. The love and attachment that she taught them to have for the Niqāb had them begging her to give permission to them to wear it before they had even come of age to do so. Her method and style of Tarbiyyah in regards to the Hijābs didn’t make it a big life step that one had to think about over and over and make decisions regarding while fretting over what people would say or how many limitations it would bring. No, her methods nurtured the Fitrah of her children and were founded based on it. It instilled modesty and covering as being something so natural and necessary to a woman that being without it was difficult, even if life was easier, and putting it on was comfort and safety, even if the entire world is after you for it.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى blessed me with being able to stay true to the words of my 6 year-old self, and I began wearing Niqāb at the age of 12. I swear by Allah, I cannot credit any human for that immense blessing other than my mother, may Allah shower His blessings upon her. It's been close to a decade, but I still cannot get over it. Every time I get ready to leave the home, I stare in the mirror beside the front door and my eyes tear and my heart swells. To others, it may seem like an exaggeration or even illogical, but by Allah, if you were to place all the blessings in the world after Islām and Tawheed on one side of a scale, and the Niqāb that Allah blessed me with on the other side, the weights would be equal, if not tipped towards the Niqāb. And to me, that's not an exaggeration at all, and if you knew my mother and her Tarbiyyah, you would know why."

ANNOUNCEMENT 19
⚠️It’s come to our attention that some people have been placing their social media profiles in their bios, and as such communication (sometimes inappropriate) has been occurring outside Shar’i means. Everyone is obviously free to do as they choose, but the platform isn’t meant for that. We understand the process is slower than usual, and may even be too slow - and we apologize for the inconvenience.
It’s done intentionally however, given the insanely high divorce rate due to rash decsisions based on whims and desires.
The process as is — may be slow — but it allows sisters and brothers to really think over their choices, and make a choice to take the next step based on pure compatibility, as opposed to get married and check for compatibility during the marriage.
Also, and most importantly, there is no Khalwah taking place. Remember that when you begin something obeying Allah, it will have lasting Barakah Insha’Allah, and if your foundations are built on Haram, how strong do you think the marriage will be?
If you’re a brother or sister who has their social media profile in your bio, then we kindly ask you to remove it. BarakaAllahu Feekum.
🚫People will be given 48 hours to remove mention of this from their profile, if it’s not removed, your profile will be deleted.

"My grandfather Hayfah (رحمه الله) was an extremely wealthy businessman who owned massive amounts of properties on the Mediterranean Sea—the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Hayfah. One of the most strategic and valuable lands in the county. It is occupied now and he fought, but was forced out with only the clothes on his back, may Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) grant him Firdaus. And Subhan’Allah it was days like this, seventy-four years ago when my beloved father as a child was displaced from his house in 1948. From first hand experience, from someone who has a personal right to land that’s there; and every Muslim has a right to that land.
Our hatred is not founded on their oppression and occupation, it may add to it, but that is not the foundation of it. Our hatred is fully intact whether they give us the land back, or if it is attained by force, or if they continue as occupiers. The foundation of the hatred is based on the kufr itself because we value the rights of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) more than our own rights, as every Muslim should. The occupational oppression may add to the hate, but there is a foundational level of hate that doesn't go away so long there is kufr."

Q. My children have recently been exposed to the concept of birthdays. They saw children blowing out candles on a cake after singing them a birthday song. My question is, is it permissible to put candles on an Eid cake and have the kids blow it out so they don’t feel left out?
A. Absolutely not. You cannot do that. This becomes imitating the unbelievers in their festivals and celebrations. You’re imitating birthdays and attempting to put an Islamic twist on it. In reality, this exposes children to watering down their religion from a young age to fit the customs and cultures of the unbelievers over standing firmly and steadfast to the rope of Allah. What happens when Muslims are ignorant about concepts such as this and view it to be minor, you end up eventually seeing Muslim families having a Turkey on thanksgiving or a roast dinner on Christmas in the name of “just spending time with the family” or “just eating a dinner together.” Some go as far as even putting up trees in their homes during Christmas and decorating it with all sorts of excuses like “a creative activity for the kids” or “my children will feel left out.” They do everything the unbelievers do but remove the name thinking it’s then permissible. You are only fooling yourselves. You’re stripping away the solid Islamic foundation Islam instructs. We have firm, Islamic, Monotheistic, non-comprisable beliefs. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whosoever imitates a people is one of them.”
Islam covers every aspect of our lives, you cannot give something you don’t have and that’s why knowledge of this religion is crucial for everyone! We are proud of our ways and that’s also a reason why we are prohibited to imitate the unbelievers, because it shows a preference, a loyalty and love for their ways over ours. It is a defeatist mentality right from the beginning. Allah said (interpretation of the meaning): “This day I have perfected for you your religion, and completed My Blessing upon you, and have approved for you as religion, Submission (Islam).”
