Introduction 📒

Assalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu

Dear Parents, Alhamdulillah, with the help of Allah we were able to adapt Shaykh Ahmad‘s(حَفِظَهُ الله) Gems of Ramadan Series and part of Shaykh Musa’s (حَفِظَهُ الله)Ramadan book, into a children’s booklet. Our goal was to keep the same essence of their beneficial works to In Shaa Allah help and inspire the next generation of Muwahhideen.

A Statement from Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حَفِظَهُ الله) 🍃

“I went over this booklet and found it to be a phenomenal effort and an incredible, huge step in delivering the pure Islam and Tawheed to our children in a manner they can understand and relate to.

I ask Allah to bless the sisters behind this effort and their work, as they put much effort and time, making this free and available for everyone for His sake. I ask Allah that their work be a means to raising a new generation of Muwahideen, who will bring victory to this deen.”

‏اللهم بلغنا رمضان، وبارك لنا فيه، ووفقنا للعمل الصالح، وتقبله منا

The manners of the Shaykh with his father (حفظهما الله) remind one of the righteous who came before.

Sufyān Ath-Thawrī said to Sufyān Ibn 'Uyainah, "Why do you not speak (narrate)?” He replied, “While you are alive, no way."

[Al-Khatīb Al-Baghdādi, Al-Jāmi' li Akhlāq Ar-Rāwi]

It is reported from Abu 'Abdillāh Al-Mu'ayti that he said:

I saw Abu Bakr Ibn 'Ayyāsh in Makkah. Sufyān Ibn 'Uyainah came to him and knelt in front of him. Abu Bakr asked him, “How are you Sufyān? Sufyān, how is your father’s family?” Then a man came and asked Sufyān about a Hadīth, so Sufyān said, “Do not ask me as long as this Shaykh is sitting here.”

It is reported from Al-Hasan Ibn 'Alī Al-Khallāl that he said:

We were once with Mu'tamir Ibn Sulaymān while he was speaking to us, when Ibn Al-Mubārak approached. Mu'tamir cut short his speech. It was said to him, “Speak (or narrate) to us.” He replied, “We do not speak in front of our seniors.”

RAMADAN 1444

We asked Shaykh Ahmad (حفظه الله تعالى), with regards to the start of Ramadan and he’s informed us that the first night of Ramadan is Wednesday Night (March 22nd, 2023) night, and the first day of fasting is Thursday (March 23rd, 2023).

الهم اهله علينا بالخيرات والسلامة والاسلام واعنا فيه على الصيام والقيام وغض البصر وحفظ اللسان
وتقبله منا يا رحمان

O Allah bring this Month upon us with goodness, wellness, and complete submission to You, and aid us to fast and pray the night prayer, and to lower our gaze and preserve our tongues (from foul language and Gheebah), O Allah Accept it from us.
