This latest release by Shaykh Musa (حفظه الله تعالى) is something we should place between our eyes, especially for those in Da’wah. Be weary of elevating yourself & of self prescribed noscripts — this is talking to people with actual knowledge. What have you of those like us, who are a nobody’s nobody?!
اسال الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم، ان يطهر قلوبنا من النفاق، وعملنا من الرياء، وكلامنا من الكذب

There’s no room for competition, exclusivity, and conceit in Da’wah.
When you’re working for Allāh — and IF you’re truly working for Allāh — you should never feel or act like you have monopoly over a certain field or niche in the Da’wah. If you’re sincere, then you would be delighted at anyone else joining in and attempting to help spread the Khayr and you would welcome, support, and promote it if fit.
We need to get off our high horses and remember that no matter what we do, we’re still nobodies in the grand scheme of things, made of dirt only to return to it. We’re beggars pleading with Allāh to accept our small efforts, yet you see some act like as if they were made authorities over people just because of a few thousand followers or fancy editing, and you can sense their annoyance when others attempt to enter into their arena.
Those who are the most successful in Da’wah are those who are the most sincere.
Those who are the most successful in Da’wah are those who are the most sincere.
Those who are the most successful in Da’wah are those who are the most sincere.
Take it as a rule.
Your persona has no importance in this noble work. A true Da’ee is more concerned with what’s best for the message he’s attempting to propagate. Whether the truth comes from him or other than him, he doesn’t care, it’s all the same — as long as Allāh’s Deen is being upheld and defended.
May Allāh سبحانه وتعالى Forgive us and Guide us to realize the vices that lie within our hearts. May He Pardon us with His Vast Pardon. May He Bless those who sincerely engage in this noble field endlessly in both worlds.

Desirable Qualities of a Wife | Surat An-Nisā’ | #QurānicReflections
• Free, believing women• Chaste (neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse nor those who take boyfriends)• Devoutly obedient (to Allāh تعالى and their husbands)• Guarding in [the husband's] absence both his property and their chastity❤48👍3
Words that a believer will not cease to hear about himself so long as he believes:
إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِينُهُمْ ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ
[Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allāh - then indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise. [Al-Anfāl: 48]
So be patient over what they say and exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied. [Tā Hā: 130]

Another negative side effect of people announcing when they think Laylat Al-Qadr was (such as those who talk and post pictures of the signs they saw all over social media) is that it can possibly demotivate others from exerting their utmost efforts in all the ten nights to find it. Those who worshipped that night might put one leg over the other and do the bare minimum after that, and those who didn’t might feel dejected and useless, leading them not not focus on what’s left, but only over what they missed out on.
Part of the wisdom in it being hidden is that it’s a form of mercy from our Lord to motivate us to strive in every single night, resulting in greater rewards and stronger Īmān.
If you feel you witnessed it, Alhamdulillah. Keep it secret and don’t become satisfied with yourself and your worship — keep striving!

THE APPROACHING EID: SISTERS BE CAREFUL
While we should celebrate with our loved ones on this day, it is important to do so within the confines of the Shari’ah, and for us not to do that which is displeasing to Allah - as we celebrate a day of Eid given to us by Allah!
A common theme amongst Eid gatherings/Celebrations/Salah, is the condition in which women attend these gatherings. A small reminder for the men who have women, and for our sisters to keep between their eyes.
It has been confirmed from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم), the forbiddance of preventing them (women) from going out to the Masjid, as was narrated in the Hadith of Ibn Umar (رضي الله عنه), where he says:
“The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said: If the wife of anyone of you asks permission to go to the Mosque, he should not forbid her.”
(Bukhari 5238; Muslim 921)
Imam al-Tirmidhi (رحمه الله) said in his Sunan (2/433):
“And a group of the people of knowledge reference this hadith, in granting the concession for the women to go out (to the Salah) for the two Eid Prayers, and others disliked it. It is narrated that Abdullah Ibn al-Mubārak (رحمه الله) said: “I dislike for the women to go out (to the Salah) for the two Eids, and if the women insisted except that she wishes to go out (to the Salah), then her husband should allow her to go in her shabby old clothes (اطمارها الخلقان), and for her not to beautify herself, and if she refuses to go out in this manner, then it is upon the husband to prevent her from going out.” And it is narrated from Aisha (رضي الله عنها), that she said: “If the Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) were to see what the women of today have come with, then he would have prevented them from going out to the Masājid, as the women of Bani Israel were prevented.” And it is narrated from Sufyān al-Thawri (رحمه الله), that he disliked the days which the women would go out for Eid.”
Ibn Rajab (رحمه الله) said in Al-Fath (8/41):
“Aisha (رضي الله عنها) statement is indicating that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) would give concessions in some of what he gave concessions in, due to the absence of corruption in his time, and when the corruption appeared and spread after his time (those concessions would no longer apply) – so if he where to witness what has since transpired, he would not have continued in allowing said concession, rather he would have forbade it, because it is He who orders to goodness and forbids corruption and evil…”
Ibn Rajab continues: “…And the Scholars differed with regards to allowing the women to be at the Masājid during the times of the congregational prayer with the men, and some of the Scholars [even] disliked for women to be at the Masājid in all circumstances, and it is what is the apparent understanding of what is narrated from Aisha (رضي الله عنها), and she pointed that this concession (of not preventing the women from going to the Masājid) was for (applicable) them, only when they had not done what they’ve since done, so this concession was for a purpose, and that purpose has been removed (or superseded by a greater evil).”
Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (رحمه الله) said: I dislike for women to go out in these times (his era), because they are a Fitnah…

DON’T GREET ‘EID WITH SINS | #OldPost
The worst way to greet ‘Eid is by sinning. You spent an entire month repenting to Allāh for the evil you've committed and the sins you've done, don't think that Allāh stops Watching you once Eid begins.
Two common sins that are committed on ‘Eid are Tabarruj and free-mixing between the genders.
Don't go out on ‘Eid with your faces/hands uncovered, your body scented in perfumes, with high heels, and adorned clothing. Your henna is and adornment, and your hands are already supposed to be covered, but when you adorn them and show them it’s sin on top of sin. Your makeup is an adornment, and although your face should already be covered, displaying it and adorning it double the sin. Your eyes should also remain as they are, with no Kohl, eye shadow, or mascara.
وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِنْ زِينَتِهِنَّ
“And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment.” [An-Noor]
If Allāh does not want you to let men know what jewelry and adornments you have concealed, imagine the sin if you didn't even conceal it, but instead wore it openly and proudly.
Don't post selfies for every man to see, have some shyness. Allāh سبحانه وتعالى says:
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ
"And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance..." [Al-Ahzāb]
Don't make a wanton display of yourself, and if you do so, you should know that Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ have cursed the women who do Tabarruj.
In Saheeh Muslim and elsewhere it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet ﷺ said: “There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: men with whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike the people, and women who are clothed but naked, walking with an enticing gait, with something like the humps of camels on their heads. They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, and its fragrance can be smelled from such and such a distance.” and in some narrations it comes "curse them, for they are cursed".
Al-Mawdoodi said, “The word ‘Tabarruj’, when used in relation to a woman, has three meanings:
1 - When she exposes the beauty of her face and body before non-Mahram men.
2 - When she exposes the beauty of her clothes and jewelry before them.
3 - When she exposes herself before them through the way she walks, and moves.”
‘Abdullāh Ibn Mas’ūd رضي الله عنه said, “Women are but an ‘Awrah (something private to be covered). A woman might leave her house without there being any problem with her, but the Shaytān seeks her out and says [to her], ‘You will not pass by anyone except that you will impress/please him.’ A woman puts on her clothes and is asked where she is going, to which she replies, ‘To visit a sick person,’ or ‘to attend a funeral’, or ‘to pray in the Masjid’; but a woman never worships Allāh in the way she does when she worships Him in her house. [At-Tabarāni]
Sisters must also remember to lower their gazes from the brothers, it is better for their hearts and to keep their minds pure of filth.
As for free-mixing, then the sisters should remember that your male cousins are not your mahrams, your brother in laws are not your mahrams, your distantly related male "uncles" are not your mahrams, and your male childhood family friends are not your mahrams. For these men, you cannot sit in the same room, chat with them, have a good time together, eat at the same table, or display yourself and your adornments to them. Same for the brothers, they cannot free mix with the females mentioned in the categories above. Family/friend visits should be strictly segregated.

Shaykh Nāsir Al-Fahd فك الله أسره said, "Allah The Almighty Commanded women to let down their Jilbābs over themselves, to cover their faces, and to not display their adornment to non-mahram men, and he ordered them to stick to their homes, and he forbid for them the Tabarruj of Jāhiliyyah and he forbid them from being alone with men or to mix with them, or to travel without a Mahram, and other than that from what is well known publicly and privately, and all this is to protect women and men from Fitnah and to protect society from downfall."
May Allāh accept Accept your good deeds and allow you to continue them and Grant us guidance and steadfastness.

THE WOMEN OF TABARRUJ
It’s Harām for these women to leave their homes, even for Eid Salāh (which some ‘Ulamā considered Fard)!
• These women who leave their homes with anything besides their eyes uncovered (revealing their faces and hands)!
• These women who leave their homes with wide openings in their Niqāb — revealing their eyebrows, the tops of their cheeks, the sides of their face and too much of their eye socket.
(The eye slit in the Niqāb must be narrow and can only show one or two eyes)
• These women who leave their homes with makeup on their faces!
(even if they have Niqāb on - eye makeup is still Harām)
• These women who leave their homes with colorful, bright Jilbābs and adorned, patterned clothing!
• These women who leave their homes with their heads tilted with camel humps (hair wrapped in buns) raised underneath their head covers!
Clearly forbidden in the Hadīth and even if the bun is small or near the neck, it still shows other men how much hair they have!
• These women who leave their homes displaying their rings, bracelets and other jewelry/adornments, catching the eye of every man!
• These women who leave their homes like adulteresses, with the smell of perfume coming from them!
• These women who leave their homes swaying in high heels, tilting their bodies forward, changing the way they walk, and making a sound as they walk past men!
• These women who leave their homes with tight and fitted clothing, dressed but still naked!
• These women who leave their homes wearing Jilbābs or abayahs made of thin or stretchy cloth (like jersey), showing the shape and size of their every limb, dressed but still naked!
• These women who leave their homes wearing see-through clothing, dressed but still naked!
• These women who leave their homes unnecessarily and appear in front of non-mahram men unnecessarily, mixing with them to make a display of themselves (even if they have Niqāb on).
O Sisters, Fear Allāh!
It is Harām for you to leave your home or appear before any non-mahram man in this type of manner and dress.
The sins you’re earning by dressing like this are not small and cannot be taken lightly.
This sin of Tabarruj could be the sin that drags you to Hell!
“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies”
[33:59]
“And stay in your houses, and do not Tabarruj yourselves like the Tabarruj of the times of ignorance”
[33:33]
“And tell the believing women ...not to show off their adornment”
[24:31]
“And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment.
And all of you beg Allāh to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”
[24:31]

That's life, may Allāh grant you the best in it.”
