And how could you take it back after having enjoyed each other intimately and she has taken from you a firm commitment? — 4:21
Allah, in His divine wisdom established the existence of both male and female. In the intricate weave of society, it is the family that serves as the bedrock, the essential cornerstone of social infrastructure. The wife is the bedrock of the family and the family is the most important establishment in society.
Families, as the primary units of society, have significant bearing on the overall societal structure. Therefore, when destructive forces aim to destroy and destabilization a nation they begin by attacking the family unit first. They employ tactics aimed at dismantling the role of women, leading to a disintegration of home life. Women are encouraged to leave their homes, resulting in children being moulded and raised by television and phone screens. This chaos within the family also contributes to a shocking increase in divorce rates.
However, to safeguard against such detrimental forces, it is imperative that the foundations of family are firmly rooted in love, respect, and shared responsibilities within the boundaries of the Shari’ah. Relationships must be nurtured with affection, mercy, and patience to create environments of understanding and mutual support. It is through such efforts that families can withstand external pressures, providing society with a robust anchor.
Allah gathered between spouses in goodness, joy, and blessings in the marital bond. The foundation of a spouse's connection should be rooted in love and selflessness, enveloped by tenderness, kindness, and comfort for one another. There should be a preference for each other. When each of you prefer the other over yourself you find both spouses rights being fulfilled and satisfied, creating an atmosphere of satisfaction and tranquility.
In this mutual sanctuary, spouses find comfort, delight, and rejuvenation. You become each other's source of solace and happiness, seeking solace in the tranquility each provides. Despite worldly hardships or financial constraints, the wealth of love and peace in your relationship makes you feel abundantly rich and content, as though you're the wealthiest individuals on earth.
The foundation of a successful marriage involves prioritizing each other over oneself. Patience, sacrifice, generosity, and constant support are key aspects. Irrespective of the circumstances, each partner makes every possible effort to ease the other's burdens. This cooperation contributes to raising healthy children, which is only achievable through effective communication, love, and understanding among spouses. Without love, the family unit cannot thrive, but with it, the family flourishes as they cooperate and forgive each other for shortcomings.
Consider this analogy: if it's freezing outside, one would naturally long for a repose, a warm house to seek comfort in. This is similar to a husband who, upon leaving home, anticipates finding comfort and warmth upon his return, which primarily lies in his wife.
A lot of men today abuse their wives. They should remember the words of the Messenger: “The believers who show the most perfect Faith are those who have the best behaviour, and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives".
The Prophet never hit anyone - servant, slave, child or wife! You cannot harm or humiliate women, they are respectful and honourable. The Prophet is our excellent example, he used to give A’isha رضي الله عنها the meat and he would suck the bones, he would give A’isha the drink and he’d drink from the spot she drank.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “You will be rewarded for whatever you spend for Allah's sake even if it were a morsel which you put in your wife's mouth."
Fear Allah regarding your spouse. You have taken them as a trust from Allah.Intercourse has been made lawful among you by the word of Allah.

Every individual among you is a shepherd, and each shepherd is tasked with guarding their own herd. The scholars are the shepherds of the Muslim ummah. By Allah, we ask you O Scholars, where have you gone?! You did nothing but sell yourselves and your verdicts to the rulers to suit their desires and whims, you abandoned the Ummah with your silence, your actions and your hypocrisy, leaving them blinded in issues of clear cut matters of the religion. Not only are you bathing in Muslim blood but you’ve supported the tyrants and oppressors over the truthful scholars, filling the prison walls with real knowledge that you have contained inside and barred from leaving.

The Muslimīn of Gaza are being starved by the Yahūd!
Imagine if these were your children/family, how much would you give to them? I'm sure we'd all say, "everything we have". Well, these are our children, and they deserve every last penny of ours. That's their right upon us and upon the wealth Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى) gave us. We're not doing them a favor, we're doing ourselves a favor — because on they Day of Judgement we will be questioned about neglecting the suffering of our brothers & sisters.
The money you give for Allāh's Sake will always come back to you (tenfold with more barakah from Him), but your Muslim brethren who die from hunger will never come back. How will you face Allāh after knowing this and turning away?

In the struggle to establish Sharī’ah and the Tawheed of Allāh on His Earth, the blood of the entire Ummah is cheap, and we put out souls forth and hope to sacrifice them for such a noble goal.
But what shreds the hearts to pieces is to see the blood of our Muslim children and brethren being used as the currency in the fight between one Tāghūt and another.
Our Shuyūkh and their teachers already clarified the ruling on these democratic, secular groups fighting for nationalism and self-defense years ago.
Having an Arabic name and picking up a gun doesn't render one a Mujāhid. Emotions are running high, but 'Aqīdah should always be higher.
The crimes these groups have committed against Allāh تعالى (first and foremost) and then against the Muslimeen shouldn't be forgotten just because one desperately desires to support someone in these heart wrenching times.
Your enemy's enemy is not always your friend. Our friends and loyalty are determined based off of the Rayah of Tawheed. He who fights to establish the blessed words that adorn it is the only one worthy of our support and love.

A man came to the Rasūl (ﷺ) and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame, and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allāh's Cause?" The Rasūl (ﷺ) said, "He who fights that Allāh's Word should be superior, fights in Allāh's Cause." [Bukhāri]

Giving the Ummah an abundance of men and women who will readily have their necks severed in Allāh’s cause is the single greatest contribution a woman can offer to this Deen.
It’s a pity the modern women make so many excuses to hold back from fulfilling this need. You have the ability to provide the oppressed Ummah with cavalrymen and women, and the possibility of legends coming forth from your descendants, yet you shy away while you’re able to?
How selfish is such a woman, the one who cares more about preserving her body’s youth and her peace than our dying Ummah. How selfish is she who constantly says “I’m not ready”, and “I’m too young”, “I’m just a child myself”, and “I don’t want that type of responsibility right now”, making lame excuse after excuse to not bear children for the Best Ummah Raised for Mankind — she who delays and fights with Allāh’s Decree, avoiding it with all sorts of tactics for flimsy excuses that hold no water.
Bear children in abundance, O sisters, who will make the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ proud on Yawm Al-Qiyāmah. Vow to Allāh سبحانه وتعالى that which is in your womb like the Mother of Maryam عليها السلام did, and dedicate your life to making them from among the Siddiqīn, and the Sālihīn, and finally, from the Shuhadā’. Don’t allow the Dunyā to deceive you into seeing this great and noble role as a burden that needs to be delayed and avoided. That is the thinking of the ignorant, for our religion has only described a righteous progeny as a blessing beyond comprehension.

Compare that to us, who can hardly persist on the obligations. A believer who is truly striving for the peak of Firdaws needs to hold himself to an elevated, elite standard. He doesn’t settle for average or basic or even good — he’s looking to be among the Foremost.

“I hardly know a single person who doesn’t set aside some time in the week for the things that they deem to be “rest”. Everybody allocates portions of their life for that which soothes their heart.
“Weekends are for the boys”
“Girl time”
“Take my mind off life with a book”
“Movie night”
“Video game escapism”
At the mere mention of these recreational activities, you see sparks in people’s eyes. Smiles on their faces. The chatter becomes lively, and the atmosphere becomes homely. People love to discuss things they all mutually relate with and find comforting.
I also hardly know many people who allocate a portion of their time to do that which brings true life to the hearts.
I don’t know many whose eyes light up at the mention of Islām. I don’t know many whose eyes flood with tears at the mention of the Qur’ān. I don’t know many who find joy in conversing regarding the hereafter. I don’t know many who have a zeal to learn. Nobody ever talks about ‘Ilm they learned, or benefits they pondered in the way they talk about their worldly hobbies.
I don’t remember the last time I met someone who brings up Islām in every conversation with the excitement and love people talk about their worldly entertainment with. I see people’s souls overflowing with joy as if they’re about to burst when I lend them an ear to hear them gush about their passions.
But my heart yearns to see someone’s soul and eyes overflow upon the mention of their religion...”

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said in ‘Lata’if al-Ma’arif’ (p. 276):
“Winter is the best season for the believer because…Allah strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him. This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting…
As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep. So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body…
And it was narrated that Ibn Mas’ud said: “Welcome to winter! Blessings descend in it, its nights are long to pray in, and its days are short to fast in.” It is also narrated from him and al-Hasan: “Winter is a wonderful time for the believer. Its nights are long to pray in, and its days are short to fast in.” When it was winter time, ‘Ubayd bin ‘Umayr would say: “O people of the Qur’an! Your nights are now long for you to recite in. So, recite! Your days are now short for you to fast in. So, fast! Night prayer in the winter equals fasting during the day in the summer.” This is why Mu’adh wept on his deathbed and said: “I weep because I will miss the thirst I felt when I fasted, praying at night during the winter, and sitting knee to knee with the scholars during the gatherings of knowledge.””

May Allāh have mercy on every martyr of our Ummah, who carried the honor and glory of His Religion on their backs and severed their necks for His Pleasure.
May Allāh accept them among those who صدقوا ما عاهدوا الله عليه and make us among those who ينتظر وما بدلوا تبديلا.

We don't know what our beloved 'Ulama' of Haqq go through on a daily basis due to the heavy burden of this religion that they carry on their shoulders. Let us be grateful to Allah for what He blessed us with of lions of this religion, who are constantly at the forefront to protect the religion from manipulation, taking the brunt for it in silence and contentment with Allah's decree. The least we can do, if we truly love them for Allah's sake, is sincere supplication and spreading their life works for the sake of Allah.
They mention snippets regarding their trials in passing (when there's a benefit), as if they are nothing, while our minds are left baffled at what they just spoke of. They sacrifice their time and safety for the benefit of the Ummah, making themselves available to serve this Deen constantly, while the majority of us cannot even remember them in our Du'aas.
May Allah forgive them and forgive us, protect them, and raise their ranks, and unite us all under His 'Arsh and in Firdaws after that.
