“We have no one except Allāh”
Often said while expressing weakness, this is actually the greatest strength and the peak of honor. Even if the entire globe was behind you supporting you, you would still only have Allāh سبحانه وتعالى, and He alone is sufficient.

The Wolf Is Not to Be Blamed for His Aggression on the Herd of Sheep!
When the Shepard is the greatest enemy of the sheep, the wolf cannot be blamed for his aggression on the sheep!
I heard a few days ago on the news the president of one of the the highest Muslim populated countries in the Middle East saying: “Take the population of G4z4, the residents, take them out of G4z4 to the desert. Then let the government (I.e., the enemies) finish and accomplish their mission (I.e., annihilate whom they wish of them that they consider a threat), then bring the residents back into G4z4.”
This is exactly the policy of our Arab and Muslim leaders. They joined with the disbelievers against the believers. They are traitors. The enemies of Allah. The enemies of the people disguised as Shepards seeking to guide the herd to safety. Who on earth can make such a ridiculous statement. We are not fooled by the harsh words in a soft tone, indeed you are the biggest liars, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The so called Muslim leaders who sold the Ummah to their enemies as prey!
All our “rulers” are the same. Traitors.
And (remember) when the disbelievers plotted against you (O Muhammad) to imprison you, or to kill you, or to exile you out (from your home, i.e. Makkah); they were plotting and Allah too was planning, and Allah is the Best of the planners.
As for those who remained silent in the face of oppression, or chose to side with the evil rulers over your righteous brothers, or claimed lesser of the two evils and voted in an election that leads to disbelief. Just know, you were fooled by some mere words, you chose them over the law of Allah. Indeed, the blood of innocent people are on your hands along with your leaders. The destruction of lands is on you. Every mother that lost her child, every husband that lost his wife, every brother that lost his sister, you are at fault too! You (worshippers of your leaders) are just like them, Murjiatul Asr, Yahood al-Qiblah - those who sold their religion, their knowledge and their devotional act for a worldly benefit. They sold the hereafter for a cheap price.
May the eyes of the coward never sleep!
When you believers are touched with good, they grieve; but when you are afflicted with evil, they rejoice. Yet, if you are patient and mindful of Allah, their schemes will not harm you in the least. Surely Allah is Fully Aware of what they do.

The excuses are feeble and hold no water. Look at how many hours people spend in a day on their phones, scrolling apps aimlessly, texting for leisure, etc and imagine if that time was dedicated to Hifdh — how much progress would be made?
Over 20 years on this Earth and you still have not committed the Qur’ān — which you claim to be the constitution of your life and the life of your heart — to memory? Is that not something we should all be ashamed of? Where have we spent the years if not with the Qur’ān? What has occupied our youth that was more important?
May Allāh rectify our hearts and states.

I remember more than half a decade ago (more or less), I had seen a dream where there was a tree house atop a very tall tree. I proceeded to climb it and upon reaching the top, I saw Shaykh Ahmad, and he did nothing but smile a beaming smile and welcomed me inside. At that point, I hadn’t gotten the honor of meeting the Shaykh in-person due to unheard of and unprecedented restrictions — so we only knew him through his online Tawheed series.
Once Allah honored me to know him, I was left amazed, shocked, and immensely saddened — all at once. I was amazed at his kindness, his seriousness and care for the Da’wah to Allah, the depth of his knowledge, his hospitality, and his sincere love and dedication to Islam and the Muslims. Many people don’t realize, that what the Shaykh preaches — he practices to the utmost of his physical capability. Without saying too much, listen to the “Gems of Ramadan” series, and know these lectures while they were sourced in the Athar of our pious predecessors, they flowed off the tongue due to personal experience. The entirety of the Tawheed series was given with no preparation or notes. The Shaykh accounts for every minute within his day, and most of it, is in the Da’wah to Allah — and it shows with the Barakah that’s found within his lectures, Allahumma Bārek Lahu. We ask Allah keep him steadfast and sincere, and protect him from every evil.
I was also left shocked at the level of viscousness and tenacity, the blatant lies and hypocrisy, the unimaginable harassment that he goes through since his release from prison — all the while, keeping it hidden from everyone. If you were to ask him what’s wrong, you’d think he was living an easy life. When he hears of someone going through trouble, or a family member having suffered a difficulty or sickness, he would be the first to reach out and console you. Unbeknownst to the world, and those closest to him — the enormity of trials and tests he goes through on a daily basis. This is merely from what we know and are willing to reveal, what remains to be revealed would make the sane go insane, except whom Allah has Mercy upon. Do you all remember the lecture on “The Hukm of Joining the Military” he released earlier in 2023? As a result of this lecture alone, the Shaykh was tailed by a group of cars shortly after the lecture’s release, and a group of heavily armed men exited and surrounded him and his car on the highway, stopped and searched him, amongst other things — this is just a recent case. The difficulties, harassment, and threats haven’t stopped since he was released from prison, so it certainly doesn’t start nor end when some clowns with a computer, write fables online with the sole intention of engagement — a characteristic which is shared by both Murji’a and lying news agency reporters — قاتلهم الله جميعا.
Know my beloved brothers and sisters — when we call our Shaykh an Imam, we don’t do so lightly. The trials endured, whilst remaining firm and steadfast, are nothing but a testimony of faith Insha’Allah, and a testimony of the correct creed. The Shaykh gains nothing in this world from speaking on matters which speakers nowadays are too afraid to even think about, let alone verbalize. In fact, as we’ve seen in the past and continue to see — it’s as if our beloved Shaykh only increases and intensifies in steadfastness, as the situation increases in difficulty.
By Allah I wish to say more, but I know it would upset you. I say with the love of a younger brother in Islam, and the respect of a student to his Shaykh: By Allah, you will be granted a manifest victory, and Allah will make a way out for you from means which you will not expect.
I ask Allah to protect Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril, preserve him, increase him in rank in this life and the next, and smite the tongue of his every slanderer.

“I ask Allāh that He accepts from us the minuscule and insignificant efforts we’ve put in to spread his Deen and conveying the Haqq. I swear by Allāh that none of it is even worthy of being mentioned or considered. I’ve been in involved in online Da’wah one way or another since the age of 14, and in my own words, I remember telling someone close that “If they want to silence our Shaykh, then we’ll keep his words and Da’wah alive and flourishing until Allāh returns him to us, and even if he doesn’t return, this is something we will never leave off so long as Allāh permits us.” I still stand by that resolution now, and that has been the main motivation behind these pages from the beginning — and Alhamdulillah that He facilitates these matters. What pathetic excuses of students we would be if we let the Kuffār erase his influence and the truth that he had preached so easily. At that time, the Shaykh was restricted and prevented from Da’wah totally, however his classes and Da’wah from before were our mainstay and pillar throughout some of the most difficult days of our life.
The days pass on, and every trial come to climax and then starts to ease. That was when Allāh سبحانه وتعالى finally granted us the pleasure of contacting Shaykh Ahmad personally, the first thing he informed us of was that he had been making Du’ā for us all these years by name, despite not knowing us personally, nor us knowing of him knowing us!
If I sat down and decided to write about every favor Shaykh Ahmad (and of course Shaykh Mūsā حفظهما الله) bestowed upon our family throughout these years, I swear by Allāh I wouldn’t be able to do it justice.
Despite the myriad of personal troubles and tests that he faces on a daily, every time he was contacted regarding personal troubles or for advice, he was only a text message away and even closer. Whenever I would read his responses out loud to my family, they left us speechless and emotional (to say at the least). Not only has he always been helpful, and “at our service” (in his own words), he has always gone the extra mile, above and beyond — ready to do even that which some family would back away from. If a time came where our contact became infrequent, he would reach out himself to ensure everything was okay. If we had a personal issue while he was also having problems, he endeavored to respond as quickly as his situation permitted. If we needed a call, he would simply tell us to state any time and he would prioritize it. The amount of respect he shows even our parents is heartwarming, despite being near in age. He put us to shame every single time and in every single matter. Every time we extended our hand to honor our teacher and beloved Imām, he returned the honor and respect by tenfold. If we ever came to know of a personal issue he faced, it was due to our asking, never his telling. And SubhanAllah, I could sense that the mood in the household afterwards would be so downcast and depressed after coming to know of these matters. But at the same time, we couldn’t help but think, what a man, may Allāh bless him — one who suffers BY CHOICE for the sake of Allāh’s Word being supreme.
May Allāh honor him, his father, and his family in Dunyā and Ākhirah without measure. Such a blessed family from whom we’ve benefited immensely in our Deen and Dunyā both. The most beloved of people to our hearts and of the closest to us. And by Allāh, we consider the honor of knowing them to be an answer to some of our most ardent Du’ās. With them, we came to know of brotherhood that we only used to read of in ancient books, with no expectation that we would experience it in our own lives.
The hashtag was #SupportShaykhAhmadJibril back then when we were just young teenagers who didn’t know him personally, but loved him dearly for Allāh’s sake, and it’s #IStandWithShaykhAhmad now, a little short of a decade later — and it hasn’t wavered nor slackened. He told us to consider him our younger brother. We responded that that’s impossible, rather we consider him like a father figure instead.

One who raised us in our Deen and ‘Aqeedah (by the Fadhl and permission of Allāh) is someone who deserves every ounce of our support and love. The beauty of life lies in it’s tragedy,
But a breath between a laugh and a cry.
Some days the cheeks hurt from smiling,
Other days the tears never dry.
How beautiful is the irony,
That in both moments of joy and grief,
It is the water that escapes the eyes,
That becomes the foretoken of relief.
Calmness and serenity on the faces,
Is only but an illusion and deceit,
The warrior hearts of all creation,
Suffer detested days of defeat.
Would that you stopped your loathing,
And became content with your decree.
How astonishing is such a servant,
Who has set his heart free.
So it no longer struggles in a battle,
Resisting such a fate that is divine,
His heart harbors nary any discontent,
Whether sitting in shade or in shine.
When it puts down its weapons,
And surrenders in humility and defeat,
Only then can it be considered a warrior,
Of the ranks of the foremost and elite.
He who surrenders is the victor,
A most peculiar war indeed,
Its strategy eluded most mankind,
So be you one to heed…

Abusive parents, neglectful parents, oppressive parents, strained relationships with one or both — yes, it’s difficult. Yes, your wounded heart never seems to heal. May Allāh have mercy on all those brothers and sisters who suffer from such personal issues and heal their hearts. In conversing with them, one can always see that their souls are covered in scars that continue to bleed without warning.
However, as a Muslim, you must seek out the reward and wisdom in every trial you face. Most people have natural inclination and desire to treat their parents with Birr and Ihsān due to their love for them and due to the desire to “return a favor” (which is never possible in this case of course).
But when it comes to such extreme cases, in which a believer only feels hurt, betrayal, and resentment at the mention of his parent(s), he should know this is a blessing in disguise. In his case, his Ihsān and Birr towards his parents is totally pure and sincerely for Allāh سبحانه وتعالى alone. He has little to no love, affection, or attachment as a motive behind his kindness to them — he only does it to please Allāh and all he desires from it is His Pleasure. His reward is therefore, infinitely more than one who simply treated them kindly out of reciprocal love and natural affection. That alone should motivate him to excel in his piety towards them.
What greater blessing than a trial which purifies your deeds from every ulterior motive, even if it be a natural one? And it may be that as a recompense for his resolve and sincerity, Allāh سبحانه وتعالى eases his affairs and heals his inner wounds — or grants him a mountain load of Sabr, and that’s better for him than ease.

Along with that, SubhānAllāh, meeting such brothers and sisters really makes one realize that even the most overlooked shortcomings in parents characters, behaviors, and relationship with each other can adversely affect the entire life and personality of their child. You see men and women in their 30s and 40s still suffering internally due to divorces between parents, neglect, bad relationship between the parents themselves, oppression, harsh words, etc. Lack of healthy relationship with one’s children, and lack of a healthy relationship between parents themselves, leaves their children struggling with trust issues and constantly feeling vulnerable and unstable (at the very least). In interactions with children from broken or troubled homes, one thing that has always been common between them is the forlorn look of emptiness and desolation in their eyes — you can’t miss it.
Parenting has great rewards, but with that is a great responsibility and punishment if misused and neglected. It’s an Amānah that one will be asked about strenuously on Yawm Al-Qiyāmah. Just like any other aspect of our lives, we must turn to Islām for guidance regarding it. Education on the rights of parents is widespread, and rightfully so. However, education on how to parent and raise children properly and healthily is scarce. May Allāh rectify our affairs.
