The most exalted day of the year for du‘ā has dawned — the blessed Day of ‘Arafah.

Prepare your heart and your du‘ā from now, for this is a day when du‘ā are answered, hopes are fulfilled, sins are forgiven, faults are pardoned, and souls are freed from the Fire.

Approach this day with profound humility. Renounce reliance on your own might, and acknowledge that all strength and power belong solely to Allah. Embrace the truth of human frailty and surrender entirely to Him.

Let your supplications flow abundantly and unceasingly. Immerse your heart and tongue in dhikr, du‘ā, and heartfelt recitation of the Qur’an. It is reported that among the pious predecessors, some would spend the Day of ‘Arafah seated in deep remembrance and prayer, yearning for the mercy of their Lord.

Make your du‘ā lengthy and persistent. Return again and again with your most intimate personal requests — and do not forget the oppressed and the afflicted among this Ummah.

Know with Yaqeen that when Allah grants, His generosity surpasses all imagination. The arrows of du‘ā on the Day of ‘Arafah — by Allah’s infinite permission — never miss their mark.

Whoever remains steadfast in du‘ā shall be granted enduring joy and ‘āfiyah.

The great scholar Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr said:

“The supplication on the Day of ‘Arafah is better than on any other day… and the du‘ā of ‘Arafah is, in most cases, accepted.”

And in Latā’if al-Ma‘ārif, Ibn Rajab relates that one of the righteous said:

“By Allah, I have never made a du‘ā on the Day of ‘Arafah, and a year passed without seeing it answered — as clearly as the break of dawn.”

The Day of ‘Arafah is a majestic and awe-inspiring day — a day when the signs of Allah’s mercy are clearly manifest.

It presents a sacred opportunity to renew one’s faith, realign one’s path, and make a sincere, heartfelt resolution to repent and submit wholly to Allah — not only for the coming year, but for a lifetime.

As virtuous as Laylat al-Qadr is, we do not know which night among the last ten it truly is.
But we do know the Day of ‘Arafah — the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah — and this year, it falls on Thursday, tomorrow.

On Laylat al-Qadr, Jibrīl and the angels descend, and that is a tremendous virtue.
But on the Day of ‘Arafah, Allah descends in a manner befitting His Majesty.

It is a day when the signs of Tawḥīd are renewed and exalted, and when pure servitude to Allah alone — without any partner — is fully realized.

That is why it is mentioned that among the recommended supplications for the Day of ‘Arafah is a du‘ā of Tawḥīd:

“Lā ilāha illa Allāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamd, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr.”
“There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.”

One must be vigilant not to fall short on this sacred day — for it is a moment that cannot be reclaimed, an opportunity that may never come again.

Don’t forget to fast on this blessed day (if you are not performing Hajj), for it expiates the sins of the previous year and the year to come.

Ya Allah, let not the Day of ‘Arafah pass except that You have lifted from us every burden, eased our affairs, and answered our du‘ā.

Ya Allah, Most Compassionate, swiftly grant freedom to the imprisoned Muslims wherever they may be, and free our sisters enduring hardship and suffering in the camps.

Ya Allah, Protector of the helpless, shield our children, our brothers, and our sisters in Gaza and elsewhere from harm and despair.

Ya Allah, bring down the ṭawāghīt who spread corruption and injustice far and wide — those who conspired with the disbelievers against the believers —
in Gaza and in Baghuz.

Ya Allah, grant the righteous and sincere Muwaḥḥidīn a clear, resounding victory.

Ya Allah, Most Merciful, envelop us all in Your boundless pardon, infinite gentleness, and overwhelming mercy.

The sun does not illuminate any day like it does on a day such as today…
The pinnacle of the year and the epitome of the season of good deeds….
The most opportune day for heartfelt duaa…

The optimal time to make duaa starts at Thuhur and lasts until Maghrib, a cherished period by many in the past who saved their yearlong needs eagerly awaiting the chance to seek Allah's blessings and address their needs on this day.

May Allah swiftly release our sisters in the camps, free all our captives, protect our brothers and sisters in Gaza and beyond, and grant victory to the Muwahideen that brings joy to our hearts.

Both Iran and the Yahudi occupiers in Palestine have consistently stood as unwavering adversaries of Ahl al-Sunnah.

‎Their legacies are marked by conflict, persecution, and the shedding of innocent Ahl al-Sunnah blood. The suffering and massacres they have inflicted worldwide upon Ahl al-Sunnah are deeply etched into the annals of Islamic history.

‎For every sincere adherent of Ahl al-Sunnah, the downfall and destruction of these two enemies of Islam—whose hands have long been stained by the oppression of Ahl al-Sunnah—should be met with profound rejoicing.

‎The missiles raining down upon both nations ought to be met with a sincere sajdah of shukr to Allah ﷻ.

‎Their collapse transcends mere politics; it represents a symbolic victory for the steadfast followers of Ahl al-Sunnah who have endured their tyranny, and for all who uphold the true essence of Tawheed.

‎May Allah heal and soothe the hearts of Ahl al-Sunnah in Gaza, Syria, and beyond, who have endured genocides at the hands of these nations.

‎May Allah destroy both nations and make their downfall a means for the righteous Muwahideen to emerge victorious.

In the Name of Allah, Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem

We're delighted to announce the launch of a website dedicated solely to the Da'wah work and efforts of Shaykh Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى).

https://musajibril.org

We want to first thank Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) Alone, for blessing this effort insha’Allah, and allowing us the privilege of working on this project which is dear to our hearts — it is only by the Fadhl of Allah Alone we were able to complete it.

Then we'd like to thank our beloved Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله تعالى for his tireless efforts and continuous striving in the Da’wah to Allah. By Allah, we say it without exaggeration, that not a single lecture we’ve listened to from the Shaykh, except its entered our hearts. Like how are beloved Shaykh Ahmad (who learnt it from Shaykh Musa حفظهم الله تعالى) said:

What comes from the heart, enters the heart.”

We couldn’t go without thanking those who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes — not seeking praise or status, just seeking His Face سبحانه وتعالى — whether it was graphic design, trannoscription, or dictating the speech of the Shaykh, to share it with the Ummah.

We'd like to especially thank the beloved brother who designed and coded this website (amongst others) from scratch. Always being responsive whenever a need or question arises, or a feature is requested. We can't repay him with anything except our Dua, فجزاه الله خير الجزاء. I ask Allah to accept from him, and keep him sincere in his efforts.

We hope this will be a lasting legacy for Shaykh Musa’s invaluable Da'wah, and a means to raise his ranks to the highest levels of Firdaws. We ask Allah to grant our beloved Shaykh and his family a long life full of pious Deeds, and His Protection from every evil and evil doer.

Not establishing a strong base of Nafli ‘Ibādāt is one of the factors that lead to relapsing into misguidance, abandoning the Manhaj, and becoming a caller to misguidance — a phenomenon far too common among the youth.

Shaykh Ahmad Mūsā Jibrīl حفظه الله said, “I dare you to bring me any Shahīd إن شاء الله — any of the righteous, knowledgeable people or the Shuhadā’ who did not get up or have a history of praying the night Qiyām. I dare you that! Why do you think the so-called “scholars” today, the ignorant heads of today who are called scholars have led people astray? Because that forehead of theirs does not bow at night time and ask Allāh for guidance like Ibn Taymiyyah and Imām Ahmad Ibn Hanbal did. A forehead that bows in prostration to Allāh at night time could not get up during the day time and lead the masses (the Ummah) astray in matters of 'Aqīdah that were never disputed or please the Kuffār.”

Too often we see young brothers and sisters just mere weeks into adopting the correct creed, yet the majority of their days are spent socializing on social media, scrolling endlessly and consuming things above their understanding, and engaging in back and forth debates that are way above their level. If they had cut out these distractions and avenues employed by the Shaytān to plant doubts, and instead invested that time and energy into seeking beneficial knowledge and engaging in ‘Ibādah, that would aid them in remaining steadfast upon the correct Manhaj and cementing their beliefs. Instead, many skip the knowledge they should be learning, perhaps because it’s not the topic of “trending” debates, and jump to “learning” about the hefty matters so that they can jump in and give their opinions under every other post. Shortly thereafter, you find these same individuals confused, misguided, and Manhaj-hopping.

Reflect: A building without a strong foundation is bound to topple from even the slightest winds — the foundation here being Taqwā (built from Nawāfil, seeking beneficial knowledge, and self-reflection and rectification). One who attempts to run before he can walk will only trip and land on his face, and likewise one who jumps into matters he can’t fully understand or comprehend before cementing that which relates to him directly and personally of knowledge will only end up humiliating himself — and the worst humiliation is misguidance.

So while this applies to all of us generally, we should specifically and emphatically advise those new to the Manhaj to

Distance themselves from social media and from socializing with immature brothers whose sole focus is on debating, socializing, and gaining clout

Focus on building a strong connection to Allāh and cultivating fear of Him through supererogatory acts

And to exert their time and efforts into seeking beneficial knowledge and making their character and personal lives into a reflection of their Manhaj.

It’s ridiculous when you hear of stories of young men (and women) who aren’t praying on time, are texting sisters and discussing marriage to them WITHOUT the knowledge or involvement of their Wali, who earn Harām, can’t respect their parents, can’t purify their tongues from foul language, etc — yet they are the first to recklessly engage in topics that even the most qualified of Ulamā’ discuss with caution, casually uttering statements that may put their Ākhirah on the line.

Inshā’Allāh if such advice was heeded, we would see many less cases of people turning on their heels from the truth after a short time (and may Allāh protect ALL of us from misguidance after having been guided, not a single one of us is safe).

A reminder for the author before the readers. نسأل الله السلامة والعافية.

People who focus on the former extensively and completely neglect the latter have become an epidemic, may Allāh سبحانه وتعالى guide us, and their neglect of the latter eventually leads to betraying the former.

May Allāh سبحانه وتعالى bless the Shaykh for his wisdom in teaching and his carefully selected topics and grant him and his family the highest ranks of Firdaws.

The Du’aa of Abu Bakr Siddeeq رضي الله عنه when he was praised to his face:

" اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون ، واجعلني خيرا مما يظنون ، واغفر لي ما لا يعلمون "

“O Allāh, do not take me to account for what they say, and make me better than what they think, and forgive me for what they don’t know.”

You can fool people easily, but if people don’t know your reality, rest assured, Allāh knows it. We can’t fool our creator with our seemingly pious outer appearances and eloquent speech. Never let people’s positive opinions of you get to your head. If this was the Du’aa of the best man to walk the face of the Earth after the Prophets, then what should our attitude be when praised or thought well of?

All praise is due to Allah. The Shaykh offers a service that is urgently needed by many — yet rarely found, or only accessed through great expense. Listen attentively, reflect deeply, and strive to memorize these upcoming segments on Ruqyah, so that you may protect yourself, your family, and your loved ones from the harms of the evil eye, envy, illness, and all forms of spiritual affliction — insha'Allah.

Shaykh Musa (حفظه الله تعالى) has prepared a series of beneficial segments focusing on Ruqyah, insha'Allah, and by Allah, we have witnessed tremendous benefit through them. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) facilitate their release and make them a means of healing and protection for the Ummah.

It was narrated that Ibn ʿAbbās (رضي الله عنهما) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

The influence of the evil eye is real; and if anything were to overtake the Divine decree, it would be the evil eye.”

[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim]

May Allah bless Shaykh Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى) with a long life filled with righteous deeds, and reward him abundantly in this world and the Hereafter.

Reflections from a student:

I came across a portion from the book, Taysīr Al-‘Azīz Al-Hamīd, in which four important points were derived from the following verse, detailing the qualities that made Ibrahīm (عليه السلام) an ‘Ummah by himself:

“Indeed, Abraham was a nation (Ummah), devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah.” (Surat An-Nahl: 120)

In the last point, the author mentioned a word, Lā Yastawhish (لا يستوحش), which struck me.

The author said when commenting on this verse: “Indeed, Abraham was a nation” — so that the one who follows the path (of Tawhīd) does not feel alienated due to the fewness of those who walk it.

His statement “so that the one who follows the path does not feel alienated” (لا يستوحش) is a reference to part of the meaning of the verse — namely, being alone in doing good.

It was narrated by Ibn Abī Ḥātim from Ibn ‘Abbās regarding the verse:
That he was upon Islam, and there was no one else from his people who was upon Islam at the time. Therefore, Allah said:
“He was a nation, devoutly obedient.”

I mentioned this word (لا يستوحش) to Shaykh Ahmad, how he tread this path of calling people to Tawhīd, and how the loss of those around him never hindered his desire to practice Da’wah.

He responded, “Do you know where I learned that from?”
I said, “Shaykh Musa.”
“Yes. My father taught me that."

May Allah protect them and keep them steadfast.

#NEW | THE RAFIDHAH | The People of Shirk & Kufr

📺YouTube Link: https://youtu.be/GzRq0OLBznE

This video — Insha’Allah — reveals the unfiltered and true creed of the Rafidhah, also known as the Ithna-‘Ashariyyah, Imamiyyah, or Ja’fariyyah — by uncovering their beliefs through their own mother-books. I make Dua to Allah, that after watching this video in full — which includes their sourced heresies, as well as the decisive statements of the Salaf regarding them — one realizes with certainty, that the religion of the Rawafidh (Ithna-Ashariyyah), has nothing to do with Islam, rather, it is a deviant, pagan religion dressed in islamic terminology.

I ask Allah to accept this minuscule effort, and place the Ajr of it, in the book of deeds of every Muslim from Ahlul Sunnah.

I ask you all to make Dua for family and children, that he make them of the healthy, rightly guided Awliya of Allah, and to make us all of the inhabitants of the highest levels of Firdaws.
