When the Messenger ﷺ and his followers endured three harsh years of starvation, relentlessly besieged by the Quraysh disbelievers in the valley of Banu Hashim, it was a disbeliever—Zuhayr ibn Abī Umayyah—who finally broke the silence.
After circumambulating the Ka‘bah seven times, he confronted Quraysh with thunderous resolve:
“Shall we feast and wear fine clothes while the sons of Hashim—the Messenger ﷺ and the believers—starve? By Allah, I will not rest until this cruel, oppressive siege is lifted!”
That moment revealed that even among Islam’s enemies, some recognized injustice.
Today, the Muslims of Gaza—who share with us the shahadah—suffer under a siege, bombed mercilessly, deliberately starved, and forsaken by the world. Neither the principles of Islam nor the old code of jahiliyyah touch the hearts of today’s oppressors. No one breaks their siege; no hand offers even a scrap of sustenance.
If it has been reported that the Messenger ﷺ said, “The believer is not the one who fills his stomach while his neighbor beside him is hungry,” then how much graver is the reality when an entire nation lies starved and forgotten?
Meanwhile, so-called Muslims who voted for Trump, who idolize the United States and its hollow “democracy,” bear complicity in this crime. This is what your beloved America represents: the deliberate starvation of innocent children as a weapon. Their flag you raise and the love you profess will weigh upon your souls as a crown of eternal shame.
The United States is the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism—not only through bombs dropped on Muslims but now through the slow, calculated death by starvation imposed on the infants, women, and men of Gaza. This is not scarcity; this is systematic murder by deprivation.
And to the Murji’ah rejects—the Jews of the Qiblah—whose leaders dwell mere steps from Gaza, paying jizya to the tyrants orchestrating this massacre: your crown of shame is no less heavy. You defend corrupt ṭawāghīt while our brethren perish. This is yet another wake-up call to the deviance of the entire Murji’ah ideology, whose adherents care more for their ṭawāghīt’s thrones than for the massacre of Muslims in Gaza.
Those whose ideology is to dedicate their lives and resources to defending the ṭawāghīt, who callously refuse to lift the siege and alleviate the suffering of starving children, are truly despicable and devoid of honor.
To profess love or respect for the U.S., Western “democracy,” or the ṭawāghīt of the Arab while shedding hollow tears over Gaza is hypocrisy. Your words are empty; your deceit deafening.
O Allah, the world has abandoned the Muslims of Gaza! Starving and bombed, they stand alone! Feed them! Shield them! And crush their oppressors! You alone are their true Helper and Protector!

I knew a man who expressed disgust at the living conditions of a family poorer than him, and later his Rizq was so restricted that he felt he was barely making it by and struggling to provide adequately for his family.
I knew a woman who used to mock and look down upon the tens of good marriage proposals she received when she was young, thinking she deserved better, and now she’s old and single, desperately praying for someone who’s even half of what those proposals were.
I knew a lady who got her kid married but showed dislike when others mentioned grandkids, claiming her child is not of age to even consider children. Time passed and that same child of hers became distressed due to inability to conceive despite their youth, and the mother became concerned and began to pray for what she once disliked to hear of.
I knew a woman who aborted her last male child, saying she already has one son and many daughters, and that’s enough and she wants no more. Time passed and her only son became so insane that they had to chain him up in a locked room, and she was forced to live life as if she never had a son to begin with.
I haven’t lived a very long life, but I’ve seen enough to know that those who scoff at Allāh’s blessing and diminish their value will be taught a lesson in this life. Those who don’t humbly praise and thank Allāh for what He gives will be tested by the lack of it or be deprived. Arrogance will be humbled by Allāh سبحانه وتعالى, and we seek refuge in Him from being denied blessings due to our own haughtiness over them.

If you’re struggling in your marriage, or with anxiety, depression, or you believe you’ve been afflicted with Sihr or the evil eye — and you’re seeking a qualified senior scholar, known for his knowledge, kindness, and wisdom, grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah, who seeks no reward except the reward of His Lord, then please reach out to the Shaykh’s Instagram, and we’ll put you in contact with our beloved Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله تعالى.
Just recently, the Shaykh dealt with a case of a brother, where he was tested with a test so severe, that it would crush a mountain. As a result, the brother was dealing with severe thoughts of suicide.
By The Will and Mercy of Allah Alone, the Shaykh was able to be a means of assistance and deterrence for the brother, may Allah ease his affairs and grant him a beautiful patience.
Don’t suffer alone, nor suffer at the hands of merchants who have made a business via the sufferings of people.
May Allah reward our beloved Shaykh with goodness in this life, and the next, Bless and Protect him and his family from every evil — and Bless him with a long life filled with actions pleasing to Allah The Most High Above His Throne.

Gems with Shaykh Musa
I was sitting with Shaykh Musa حفظه الله تعالى, and I asked him:
“Once we’ve found the true path — Insha’Allah — what can we do to stay firm on this path?”
He (حفظه الله تعالى) said with a kind smile, that Allah Says:
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ
“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed: If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]… [14:7]
You thank Allah for His Guidance, and He سبحانه وتعالى will increase you in His Guidance, Insha’Allah.
Then he mentioned the Ayah:
وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ
But few of My servants are truly grateful. [34:13]
He then said: “Shall we not strive to be amongst them?”
He continued and mentioned the Hadith:
“My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the duties I have imposed upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory deeds (nawāfil) until I love him. And when I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he asks Me, I will surely grant it to him; and if he seeks refuge in Me, I will surely protect him.” [Bukhari, 6502]
He said to be persistent and striving, in completing as many Nawafil (voluntary acts) as we can, for what is absolute guidance, except when Allah Loves you? Does Allah not guide whom He Loves?
A deep question, which many spend their lifetimes searching the answer for, the Shaykh answered with two Ayāt, a Hadith, and a smile.
May Allah preserve our beloved Shaykhayn and their family, and give them both a long life full of deeds, and an absolute protection from the evil of this life and the next, and grant them a lofty status and company in the hereafter, with the Siddiqeen, Shuhada’, and Righteous.

Agents for the Preservation of Virtue and Elimination of Vice
When we were in prison, many people embraced Islam, all praise is due to Allah. They used to say, “The whole compound became Muslim because of the Jibrils.” They were referring to me and Ahmad.
I spent my days in prison teaching. Every morning, I would go out to the track and announce, “If you want to learn, follow me. If you’re just here to waste time, I don’t want to see you.” And they would come, ready to learn.
Anyone who teaches people about Islam represents the Prophet (ﷺ), this is what it means to be a deputy of the Prophet (ﷺ).
Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) says:
“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘This is my way. I invite to Allah with insight — I and those who follow me…’” (Surat Yusuf: 108)
The most important thing to teach, is ‘Aqeedah. Lā ‘Ilāha ‘Illa Allah, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone. Negation, then affirmation.
Whenever people would change, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) would send a Prophet with a new message, abrogating what came before. Despite their different times and communities, all 124,000 Prophets, and 314 Messengers (عليهم الصلاة والسلام), were sent with one purpose:
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." (Surat An-Nahl: 36)
This is our way, and we strive to make it everyone’s way. Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) says:
“You are the best nation raised for mankind — you enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong…” (Surat Aal ’Imran: 110)
To enjoin good and forbid evil is to preserve the moral compass of society. Every Muslim should aspire to this, even if not everyone takes on the responsibility.
Abu Umama al-Bahili said that:
Two men, one learned and the other devout, were mentioned to God’s messenger, who then said, “The superiority of the learned man over the devout man is like mine over the most contemptible among you,” adding, “God, His angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish invoke blessings on him who teaches men what is good.”
(Mishkat al-Masabih 213, 214)

“The doctors tell you that after one year of failure to conceive a child, consider yourself infertile — but my Lord granted Zakarīyyah عليه السلام a child in old age and blessed Ibrāhīm عليه السلام again after many years.”
I was amazed at the words of a brother who was struggling with not having children after some time of being married. This brother, may Allāh grant him, had wanted nothing more than to be a father for as long as I have known him — and I’ve known him his whole life, as we grew up together. Many late nights had been spent in conversations of future plans and how we intended to raise our children.
In deep sympathy, one of his family members suggested to him and his wife to visit a clinic and seek some medical help or procedure to aid in conceiving a child. Despite his desire for children, he responded,
“If I believe Allāh provides, why would I place my faith in medicine or doctors? When I had lost my means of provision before, I sought from every means possible and placed my hopes in every avenue and it got me nowhere. Every promise made to me and every opportunity shut down on me. When I turned to Allāh and I was deeply humbled by that experience, He granted me more than I could have asked for. I never want to place my reliance on any means besides Him ever again. I will ask Him alone, and I know He will grant me as He always has. And if He doesn’t, I will submit to His test and know it’s better for me. When my wife expresses despair or grief at our situation, I tell her to look nowhere except at herself and myself. If Allāh promised that he would grant children to those who engaged in seeking His Forgiveness, and we have not yet been blessed, then it is only due to our deficiency in fulfilling the conditions. Allāh’s Promise is true. We are the ones falling short.”
May Allāh reward his Tawakkul with the coolness of his eyes in many righteous, beautiful, and healthy children very soon. People with Tawakkul like this, I’ve never seen Allāh deprive them والله.

Be Wary of Who You Befriend as Man is Upon His Best Friend’s Religion
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,
"The example of a good companion (who sits with you) in comparison with a bad one, is like that of the musk seller and the blacksmith's bellows (or furnace); from the first you would either buy musk or enjoy its good smell while the bellows would either burn your clothes or your house, or you get a bad nasty smell thereof." (Sahih al-Bukhari 2101)
This Hadith can apply both to one’s companions and the society we live in. While we can choose our companions, we cannot always choose our society.
To preserve your children’s pure Fitrah amid the inevitable influences of the world (society, peer groups, etc.), raise them early with a strong personality, good values, and most importantly, a sound Aqeedah.
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones (Surat At-Tahrim 6)
With this, they will distinguish right from wrong, stand firm in their faith, and take pride in their identity as a Muslim despite outside pressure.
I had peace of mind when my children were out, knowing they would be the ones influencing and not the other way around. Other children lacked personality, making them easily swayed.
To build a strong personality in your children, give them love, attention, respect, and your time. Ahmad was my shadow, I used to take him to the Mosque in diapers. By age four or five, he was confidently interacting with adults. And when it came to their education, I prioritized Islam, especially the Qur’an, to ensure it was never neglected.
All of this is due to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) and His help. Maybe I had a good intention, and that is why Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) helped me raise my children good.

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
“Have they not traveled through the land,”
Ibn Abi Ad-Dunyā said in his book At-Tafakkur wal-I’tibār, “Some of the wise people said, ‘Give life to your heart with lessons, illuminate it with thought, kill it with asceticism, strengthen it with certain faith, remind it of its morality, make it aware of the calamities of this world, warn it of the disasters that life may bring, show it how things may suddenly change with the passing of days, tell it the stories of the people of the past, and remind it what happened to those who came before.’”
Walk through their ruins, see what they did and what became of them, meaning, look at the punishments and divine wrath that struck the nations of the past who belied.
