May Allah grant thabāt to the Imām of thabāt and ṣabr in our time, Walīd al-Sinānī, and hasten his release.
From prison, he courageously referred to his former companion, their Grand Mufti المفتي العام, as المفتري العام — the infamous fabricator and distorter of truth.

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
“Have they not traveled through the land,”
Ibn Abi Ad-Dunyā said in his book At-Tafakkur wal-I’tibār, “Some of the wise people said, ‘Give life to your heart with lessons, illuminate it with thought, kill it with asceticism, strengthen it with certain faith, remind it of its morality, make it aware of the calamities of this world, warn it of the disasters that life may bring, show it how things may suddenly change with the passing of days, tell it the stories of the people of the past, and remind it what happened to those who came before.’”
Walk through their ruins, see what they did and what became of them, meaning, look at the punishments and divine wrath that struck the nations of the past who belied.

Don’t take statements you make online (and in Da’wah generally) with ease, and never feel safe from being tested with them. Don’t take your words lightly, and don’t think you won’t be made to prove them. When you talk the talk, prepare to walk the walk.
You may preach about Fitnah one day, and be tested with it the next.
You may give a general advice, and wake up among its intended audience.
You may speak a word without giving it much thought, and then be given an immediate opportunity to prove yourself regarding it.
I speak from personal experience when I say that sometimes one is tested for YEARS with regards to a statement he may have made or a stance he may have taken. Sometimes one is tested AFTER years, for a statement he made years ago. Sometimes he’s tested literally the next day. Sometimes he faces the hardest trials in his life immediately after he had given advice regarding the very same trial (despite possibly never having experienced it before).
I swear by Allāh, sometimes I post general reminders and reflections on a matter not personally relevant to my life, and I go to sleep, only to wake up and see that Allāh has bought those matters before me and made them personally relevant now.
Not to be misunderstood, I’m not saying you will be immediately punished due to your statements, but rather that you will be given the chance to prove yourself regarding your speech, and it will often take you by surprise. So beware and don’t stumble or falter.
Always ask Allāh to make you a man true to your words, and to be given Tawfeeq to recognize your trials immediately so that you may succeed in navigating them in a manner that pleases Him. If we fail, then what an ultimate failure and what a shame that we couldn’t live up to our words. One fears upon himself to be included in the Āyah:
أَتَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
“Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?”

Al-Fashir has become the new Gaza, a genocide unfolding in plain sight while the world remains silent. The people there endure horrors as grave as, if not worse than, those faced by our brothers and sisters in Gaza, and comparable to the atrocities that Syrians suffered under Bashar’s tyranny.
This injustice cannot go unnoticed. It demands global outrage and unwavering solidarity from Muslims everywhere.
Behind this oppression stands the UAE’s corrupt and wicked ṭāghūt, Muhammad ibn Zayed, arming, funding, and supporting killers, spreading tyranny from one land to another.
O Allah, he has transgressed throughout the land and spread corruption, so unleash upon him every form of severe punishment.
Protect our brothers and sisters in Al-Fashir, and safeguard all those oppressed around the world.

The Ṭawāghīt of the UAE
🎯To the Yahūd, they bow and extend allegiance through the Abraham Accords, a modern veil for walāʾ to the Yahūd and global powers.
🎯To the Naṣārā, they offer the so-called Abrahamic House.
🎯To the mushrikīn, they open their doors, erecting Hindu temples and idols.
🎯But to the Muslimīn, in Al-Fashir, in Sudan, and beyond, they send funding, weapons, and aid, fueling slaughter, spreading terror, and staining the earth with innocent blood. They build palaces for their enemies while digging graves for their own.
As the poet once said:
وكم عند الحكومة من رجال
تراهم سادة وهم العبيد
كلاب للأجانب هم ولكن
على أبناءِ جِلدتهم أسود
How many serve the throne,
masked as masters, yet chained as slaves?
Dogs before enemy,
fierce as wolves against their own.
These events reveal not the rulers themselves, their servitude to the enemies of Islam has long been clear. Rather, they expose the shuyūkh who defend them, legitimize them, and the deluded followers who anoint such tyrants as “legitimate rulers,” labeling all who resist them as khawārij.
And above all, they expose the West’s hypocrisy: when the executioner is a friend of the US and the Yahūd, when Sharīʿah is flouted, and the victims are Muslim, the world does nothing. No coalition of 89 nations rises; no outrage is voiced; no terror labels are issued. Silence becomes policy. Indifference becomes law.
May Allah protect our brothers and sisters in Al-Fashir, shield them from harm, grant them patience, and preserve their faith; and may He hold accountable those who oppress them or aid their oppressors.

The beauty of life lies in it’s tragedy,
But a breath between a laugh and a cry.
Some days the cheeks hurt from smiling,
Other days the tears never dry.
How beautiful is the irony,
That in both moments of joy and grief,
It is the water that escapes the eyes,
That becomes the foretoken of relief.
Calmness and serenity on the faces,
Is only but an illusion and deceit,
The warrior hearts of all creation,
Suffer detested days of defeat.
Would that you stopped your loathing,
And became content with your decree.
How astonishing is such a servant,
Who has set his heart free.
So it no longer struggles in a battle,
Resisting such a fate that is divine,
His heart harbors nary any discontent,
Whether sitting in shade or in shine.
When it puts down its weapons,
And surrenders in humility and defeat,
Only then can it be considered a warrior,
Of the ranks of the foremost and elite.
He who surrenders is the victor,
A most peculiar war indeed,
Its strategy eluded most mankind,
So be you one to heed…
But a breath between a laugh and a cry.

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said in ‘Lata’if al-Ma’arif’ (p. 276):
“Winter is the best season for the believer because…Allah strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him. This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting…
As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep. So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body…
And it was narrated that Ibn Mas’ud said: “Welcome to winter! Blessings descend in it, its nights are long to pray in, and its days are short to fast in.” It is also narrated from him and al-Hasan: “Winter is a wonderful time for the believer. Its nights are long to pray in, and its days are short to fast in.” When it was winter time, ‘Ubayd bin ‘Umayr would say: “O people of the Qur’an! Your nights are now long for you to recite in. So, recite! Your days are now short for you to fast in. So, fast! Night prayer in the winter equals fasting during the day in the summer.” This is why Mu’adh wept on his deathbed and said: “I weep because I will miss the thirst I felt when I fasted, praying at night during the winter, and sitting knee to knee with the scholars during the gatherings of knowledge.””
