(Please give) your advice to me, O Shaykh, about seeking Shar'i knowledge. O Shaykh, I am a student in a science college, and it is occupying the majority of my time, however, I have a deep desire to seek Shar'i knowledge, so what do you advise me with O Shaykh? May Allah bless you.

Answer:
“I advise you to leave studying in university and to stick to your home, for there is no Khayr in free-mixed studies that lead to free-mixed work. Allah says "And remain (firmly) in your homes" and He says "And say to the believing women to lower their gazes and protect their chastity.” And there is an example for you (to follow) in the righteous woman (mentioned in the Ayah) "Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness..."

Yesterday the Takbir sounded in the al-Hol prison camp. A large group of sisters have been released from a prison in Hasakah after 6 months. The sisters had been arrested six months ago and no one knew what would happen to them. A number of sisters said that they were sometimes imprisoned in a small cell with 30 other sisters. There were times when the terrorist organization SDF/YPG did not give the sisters access to water, forcing them to live without water for ten days. There was a shortage of food and medication. Many sisters have become ill as a result. Sisters suspected of "serious" cases were isolated. They were imprisoned in an unsanitary space measuring two meters by two. Other sisters were mistreated for standing up for themselves against injustice. The photos of under age children in prisons do not lie. Same goes for the pictures where the brothers are stuck. The SDF does not allow access to the prisons where our sisters are held. May Allah keep our sisters steadfast

I was in what is called Guantanamo North, the prison was called or labeled Guantanamo North. The most popular political cases in the USA are all there, are nearly all there, most of them. For example dr. Rāfil Dhāfir, al ‘Amūdi [Abdur-Rahmān] the former American Muslim president of the American Muslim council. Some of the Holy Land Five; shaykh Yahyā Walker, the smiling Somalī pirate, al Sayyid Nusayr many of the entrapment cases and many of tens other cases that you’d seen in the media, they are all there.

At 12 noon, they call the mailcall, everyone leaves their cell and you hear as everyone is leaving their cell, loud laughter and talk of excitement because they expected to get mail. When in returns only legal mail or nothing social from any Muslim, the mood changes. And if there’s any social mail, it’s not from the US, it’s usually from the UK, France or some from our brothers in Europe or elsewhere and it’s exceptional for them to get it in the USA. Is it illegal for a Muslim to send a postcard to one of the prisoners with a verse or a hadīth on it or tell him “be patient” or to have confidence in Allāh? It gets worse when you know that there’re activists who send them letters. Christians for example, some of the Christians watch the news, so they go and send them postcards or a letter and tell them “Jesus loves you”, or “be patient” or “if you need someone to correspond with, write us”.

After soldiers stormed into the tents and found several phones in Camp Roj and Camp Roj (Aswad) several sisters were taken حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Sisters were separated from their children and are now in prison.
