Never forget that there are many brothers and sisters who are in a similar situation, if not worse. Just because we don't know their names doesn't mean their plight is non-existent. To whom it may concern,

I am writing to demand that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, held at FMC Carswell, be treated appropriately and allowed access to the mail she receives.

On July 30th, she was attacked by another inmate and her family only found out about the attack when her attorney, Marwa Elbially, visited her in jail and saw the injuries on her face. Dr. Aafia told her lawyer “The fact that I’m not blind is a miracle from Allah”. Aafia was attacked by an inmate who had a history of harassing her, and as a result the prison placed Aafia in solitary confinement! Why is she being punished for being the victim of an attack? Aafia also does not have access to her personal belongings such as her prayer rug, headscarf etc. This is not acceptable treatment of a frail, severely traumatized woman. Aafia has suffered extensive physical and mental torture over the past 18 years, and solitary confinement will only cause further trauma.
 
Dr. Fowzia, the sister of Aafia Siddiqui, has shared that she and other members of Aafia Movement have a lot of difficulty getting in contact with Aafia. For the past 6 years, every letter she has sent has been returned, and often times the letters were not even opened. Even when the America-based branch of Aafia Movement tries to send mail to Aafia, it gets returned about 70% of the time. She is very concerned about Aafia’s mental wellbeing as she is in solitary confinement and is being denied this communication with the outside world. We have been told that the warden/guards at the prison also torment Aafia by saying things like “You don’t get any mail because no one cares about you” or “Where is your God now?”
 
We are writing to demand that Aafia be treated humanely, taken out of solitary confinement, and be allowed her to read her mail. The world is watching and we will not remain silent about her mistreatment.

NEW PDF RELEASE | Alhamdulillah, we're pleased to release the first English translation of the book Libaas Al Mar'ah Amaam An Nisaa' (The Clothing of Women Around Other Women), by The Noble Shaykh, Nasir al-Fahd (فك الله أسره). In this book, the Shaykh goes into detail discussing the issue of a woman's clothing around other women and he refutes the misconceptions that many sisters hold regarding what they are permitted to wear around other women, and then he concludes with some very valuable advice to the Muslimaat. 6 years ago, On the 23rd of September 2015, our sister Hadeel Al-Hashlamoun from the city of Al-Khaleel, Palestine, was stopped by one of the Israeli checkpoints. When she refused to uncover her face except to a female soldier, the Jewish soldier shot her and left her to bleed for half an hour.


The Jewish soldiers prevented the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance from reaching her until her pure soul departed her body.


O' Allah, accept her as a martyr, and curse her killers and those who empowered them on the lands of the Muslims.

The Rusafa prison in Iraq

I would like to remind you not to forget the captured sisters in Iraq.
The prison in Iraq is a high-security prison surrounded by walls and barbed wires.These noble sisters have been imprisoned for years and some prisoners have already been sentenced to death and executed on the basis of confessions.
It also happened that due to the bad condition in prison, some children and several women have already died.
A trusted source said that some of the women were sexually abused after their capture and imprisonment by various forces in northern Iraq and Rusafa.

May Allah protect our sisters and ease their affairs.

Man takes so much pride in his strength and youth, yet a single germ sent by Allah can land you on the bed or under the ground! Allah brings death even to the young and brings the strongest of men to their knees with means unable to be seen by the naked eye. The arrogance, then, of man in disobedience to his Lord is astounding. His own body doesn’t truly obey him, but it obeys the Lord who created it, and yet so often does man forget that he has a Lord who is Ever-Watchful and Powerful over him.

Last night in Hawl the kurds were patrolling the foreign section in a tank, as show of force, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah and after 9:30 pm they decided to blast music around the camp for about 15-20 minutes. Plus a lot of plane activity above us since yesterday, may Allah make their planes fall on their houses. Ameen.

Meanwhile in Ruj camp, sisters who were taken to prison more than 2 months ago have not yet returned while their children were left behind in the camp. May Allah free us all. Ameen.

We remind you all that this channel intends to raise awareness to the situation of the muslim prisoners in the camp and also to collect sadaqah for the sisters in need. We haven't received any message from people willing to help, even tho we have quite many followers, instead we have received messages from sisters within the camp asking us to help them. We are trying to do our best to help the ones who need, we ask Allah to provide for us all.

Please, donate and help the families in need. It's very frustrating to keeping writing the same thing over and over and feel like no one cares, that people don't feel the pain of their fellow sisters or are too busy with their lives to pay attention to us... where are the wealthy of this Ummah? Why are they keeping their wealth for while time is passing and life can end at any moment? If you are afraid of helping us, we do have safe ways to get it through.

Fear Allah and know your wealth, your wives, your children are nothing but fitnah for you. Help the muslims in need and Allah will help you and multiply your reward. Know that sadaqah doesn't decrease your wealth in any way, instead Allah puts barakah in it and increases.
