We don't know what our beloved 'Ulama' of Haqq go through on a daily basis due to the heavy burden of this religion that they carry on their shoulders. Let us be grateful to Allah for what He blessed us with of lions of this religion, who are constantly at the forefront to protect the religion from manipulation, taking the brunt for it in silence and contentment with Allah's decree. The least we can do, if we truly love them for Allah's sake, is sincere supplication and spreading their life works for the sake of Allah.
They mention snippets regarding their trials in passing (when there's a benefit), as if they are nothing, while our minds are left baffled at what they just spoke of. They sacrifice their time and safety for the benefit of the Ummah, making themselves available to serve this Deen constantly, while the majority of us cannot even remember them in our Du'aas.
May Allah forgive them and forgive us, protect them, and raise their ranks, and unite us all under His 'Arsh and in Firdaws after that.

Memorize and Recite Surat Al-Baqarah and Taste Its Flavors!
Each Surah has its unique qualities and beautiful verses which evoke different emotions in the heart of the believer, but by Allah, Surat Al-Baqarah is special! Memorize Surat Al-Baqarah and taste its flavors, how different they are! How could it not grab at your heart and make it swell, with its beautiful Ayaat, strong commandments and prohibitions, various themes, and numerously narrated virtues?
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Do not make your houses into graves, for the Shaytan flees from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited.” [Muslim]
Abu Umamah said he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say: Recite the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqarah and Surat Aal 'Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Read Surat al-Baqarah, for reciting it regularly is a blessing and forsaking it is a cause of regret, and the magicians cannot withstand it.” [Muslim]
Narrated Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If one recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night)." [Bukhari]
An-Nawwas bin Sam'an reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "The Qur'an and its people who applied it, will be brought on the Day of Resurrection preceded with Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Al-'Imran arguing on behalf of their companions." [Muslim]
Ibn 'Abbas reported: While Jibreel was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), he heard a sound above him. He lifted his head, and said: "This is a gate which has been opened in heaven today. It was never opened before." Then an angel descended through it, he said: "This is an angel who has come down to earth. He never came down before." He sent greetings and said: "Rejoice with two lights given to you. Such lights were not given to any Prophet before you. These (lights) are: Fatihah-til-Kitab (Surat Al-Fatihah), and the concluding Ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah. You will never recite a word from them without being given the blessings it contain." [Muslim].
Narrated Usayd bin Hudayr: That while he was reciting Surat Al-Baqarah at night, and his horse was tied beside him, the horse was suddenly startled and troubled. When he stopped reciting, the horse became quiet, and when he started again, the horse was startled again. Then he stopped reciting and the horse became quiet too. He started reciting again and the horse was startled and troubled once again. Then he stopped reciting and his son, Yahya was beside the horse. He was afraid that the horse might trample on him. When he took the boy away and looked towards the sky, he could not see it. The next morning he informed the Prophet who said, "Recite, O Ibn Hudayr! Recite, O Ibn Hudayr!" Ibn Hudayr replied, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! My son, Yahya was near the horse and I was afraid that it might trample on him, so I looked towards the sky, and went to him. When I looked at the sky, I saw something like a cloud containing what looked like lamps, so I went out in order not to see it." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you know what that was?" Ibn Hudayr replied, "No." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Those were Angels who came near to you for your voice and if you had kept on reciting till dawn, it would have remained there till morning when people would have seen it as it would not have disappeared.
Khalid bin Ma'dan used to call Al-Baqarah the Fustat (tent) of the Qur'an. Some of the scholars said that it contains a thousand news incidents, a thousand commands and a thousand prohibitions.
All these virtues are besides the specific virtues of the greatest verse of the Qur'an (Ayat Al Kursi), which also comes in Surat Al-Baqarah!
May Allah make us companions of the Qur'an and amongst those people who it will intercede for on Yawm Al Qiyaamah.

When it became clear that Shaykh Ahmad had Covid, he issued stern warnings to those who knew not to make mention of it. He did not seek the duā' or aid of anyone (but Allah) - nor want it. However, when his father (Shaykh Musā) - may Allah preserve them both and heal them both - tested positive, he took immediate action, asking his students to circulate the news utilizing all the social media platforms. He said,
“I don't care about myself, just make duā’ for my father. I'd rather you make duā' for him than me.” And he says to those who seek knowledge from him, “When you ask or learn from me and are able to learn or ask my father, that’s like performing Tayyamum while you have water.”
In history we learn that students of the biggest Imāms and Shuyūkh did not confine the aspect of seeking knowledge to an academic avenue alone. They did not depart their sides for a reason. They studied their mannerisms, social dealings, and overall behavior - especially when stricken with calamities.
Not only has Shaykh Ahmad’s conduct demonstrated a living example of humility, asceticism, patience, and an enduring dutifulness to his parents - but it has ingrained a crucial reminder for all those striving to seek knowledge in the path of Allah. Gaining knowledge is not strictly academic - rather it is the conveyance of the effect that knowledge has in the way they live their life in the path of Allah, inshā’Allah.
We ask Allah to accept from Shaykh Ahmad and his father, and to allow us to learn and benefit from their knowledge and presence for years to come.

Truly a defeatist mentality many so called “Muslims” have when they’re afraid of offending Kuffar by not returning their holiday greetings but have no fear of offending Allāh while congratulating those who abuse Him & commit the greatest oppression (Shirk).
A real Muslim can’t stand to even look at their celebrations, it brings turmoil and anger to his/her heart to see them ascribing to The Most Merciful a son. If the sky, the earth, and the mountains are angered and ready to split asunder, imagine then, the heart of the Muwahhid!
Allahu Akbar, we can have no tolerance, nor any respect, for Shirk, may Allāh protect us from it!

The nights were dark and we feared and we grieved,
But we always feared greater earning your displeasure.
You told us that once the hardships are eased,
We’d get back two times the pleasure.
Each time our hearts sank from the news we received,
Our attachment to the Dunya grew a bit deader.
We were faced with loss but we believed,
In your promise that things would get better.
But we always feared greater earning your displeasure.

Who is really the true friend?
Sadly, people today have a very messed up perception of what a true friend (who loves you for Allāh’s sake) looks like.
They think it’s someone who will support you 24/7, whether you’re doing something makrūh or even Harām! They think it’s someone who will stay silent when you’re following the wrong opinion, and cheer you on in every choice you make (whether it’s good or bad). That’s not a friend, that’s an enemy, wallāhi.
Someone who truly loves you for the sake of Allāh will correct and advise you about every single fault you have and every mistake you make. They will forbid you from every evil. They will not comfort your desires, they will discipline your soul. They don’t care if you get offended (and if you do, that’s very concerning on your part), because pleasing Allāh is more beloved to them. Only someone who truly cares for your akhirah, would go out of their way to do that. This isn’t called attacking or bashing. It’s called Naseeha. And if you can’t accept that with good manners, humility, and husn dhan - then maybe you aren’t ready to have a true friend, who loves you only for Allāh’s sake.
Ibn Hazm (رحمه الله) said:
“Anyone who criticises you cares about your friendship. Anyone who makes light of your faults cares nothing about you."
[Al Akhlaq wa siyar]
May Allāh make us from amongst those who are worthy of having true friends - and from amongst those who get happy when they are corrected, humbled when they are advised, and always think the best about those who forbid them from evil.

Sometimes the gift will be regarding dunya matters, like the birth of a child or marriage. But other times the gift is connected to the hereafter, like being honored with the ability to pray Tahajjud or being increased in guidance. And these are much greater. The best gift after every trial, is closeness to Allāh and gaining His love & pleasure. And this can only be attained through Sabr and being pleased with His decree.
