Just as we see today on social media, women who want to encourage our sisters to abandon the traditional Islamic way of covering their faces & start modernizing the Niqāb to fit in with western societies. There’s room to have different versions of covering, as we see all across the Muslim world. In Afghanistan, women wore/wear Burkas, in Bilaad Al Haramayn, overhead Jilbabs, & in North Africa the Hayek. However, all of these variations fit the Shari’ guidelines for how the women must dress & they covered the ‘Awrah properly & were not forms of adornment in and of themselves.
The issue with these influencers is that they dress in ways that are not in line with the Shari’ guidelines from the Qur’an & Sunnah and are influencing & encouraging (directly or indirectly) Muslim women to change their way of covering to fit in with western standards by either uncovering parts of their body that need to be covered, wearing adornments, imitating Kāfir women, or imitating the clothing of men.
We have seen on social media, women who are normalizing wearing Jilbab tops to the knees with some types of pants/trousers underneath. We have seen women who cover their faces & add an elaborate head piece, bandana, or a decorative hat. We have seen women who started a trend of covering the face but leaving the eyebrows & the forehead exposed. We have seen women who cover their faces but expose their hands, & often adorning them with rings, bracelets, & henna. We have seen women who wear Jilbab with tight jackets that reveal their shape over it. We have seen laces, frills, sequins, huge necklaces, jewelry, you name it. Every type of adornment one could imagine, being worn over Jilbabs and Niqabs.
The list goes on and on. All of these things are contrary to the way the Sahabiyaat covered & they often defeat the purpose of covering. Those women who post such pictures should know that they are guiding women to dress incorrectly & influencing them to do haram & make a wanton display of themselves. They are hijacking Niqāb & Jilbab & turning it into something completely western, trendy, & different than the purpose they were obligated for. They will have evil deeds even after their deaths.

It’s saddening how one will find so many sisters who have no care in protecting their hearts from being swayed when it comes to being on social media. Sisters following pages in which young men are constantly posting selfies, jokes, personal talk, etc. Do you truly benefit from their pages, ya Akhawaat?
How much harm it brings, by Allāh! Our young sisters, many unmarried and growing up in filthy societies where all that they are taught from childhood is to be lustful and attract the attention of men, then they get on social media and scroll through a feed full of brothers selfies and personal life mixed with some Da’wah. If this isn’t going to trap her heart and cause deficiency in her Imaan and modesty, what will?
There are plenty of pages that you can benefit from that don’t involve causing you to sin with your gaze and lose your shyness sisters. Unfollow the “selfie brothers”.

The beauty of motherhood used to be in the fact that a woman selflessly gives up everything for the sake of her children. Nowadays, women are upset that motherhood requires so much sacrifice from them. They’re constantly striving to retain everything about their lives from before, while being a mother at the same time, and the result is that they don’t fully immerse and invest themselves into the upbringing and development of their children.
What used to be seen as the most beautiful bond to exist in life is now marketed to young women as a burden and something that she needs to “plan” and put off until she’s enjoyed her life to the fullest. What used to be considered as the most fulfilling and spiritually satisfying occupation a woman could ever hold is now simply a nuisance and an obstacle in the face of her “ambitions”. The qualities we love our mothers for and are eternally grateful to them for (sacrificing their youth, time, and self to fully invest in our upbringing) are qualities we now label as being “toxic”.
The effect of letting women into the workplace and them becoming immersed into capitalism is that women now treat motherhood as if it’s a part time job. Many of them will shamelessly loathe that they’re not being reimbursed for the amount of effort they’re putting into raising their kids! Fulfillment for such a noble cause is expected to be materialistic and no one cares about the hereafter. It’s all about themselves and what they’re gaining or losing and not the spiritual aspect, the Fitra/sense of purpose, or the bigger picture for the Ummah. Individualism is really a curse, its infiltrated every aspect of our lives, even a concept so selfless as motherhood!

How could one rejoice and feel proud over the number of followers when, besides the fact that they're pixels on a screen, they can and probably will be witnesses against you on Yawm Al Qiyamah?
Somewhere down the line, one realizes that a large number of followers is nothing more than a calamity and a trial. Nothing more than a multitude of people ready to witness against you on The Day when your own hands will be sufficient as witnesses against you before your Lord.
How then would we fare on that Day? If we were to see a few thousand come and proclaim that this person has commanded us with good but we now see them for their reality — a sinner?
Woe to us! For what a large number of witnesses we have amassed against ourselves for The Day of Regret! The weight of our words should become heavy upon our tongues, and we should fear to be amongst those who called others to good, yet did not act upon it themselves.

SubhanAllah, the importance of this cannot be stressed enough! You will always be fine until you *purposely* allow yourself that one glance or allow your gaze to wander. Don't be surprised at what happens to your heart after that.

We Are All Tempted To Sinfulness.
How dumbfounding is it that Allah gives the believers safety from perishing and destruction before them yet they do not use it?! They choose to remain oblivious and do not salvage themselves whilst the salvation lies within their hands, despite that they still perish and fall into destruction!
1. In a verse in the Qur’an - (Soorat Al-Anfaal V 33) - Allah promises: “And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are amongst them…”
However, the Prophet is no longer among us, he is at the peak of paradise. But you can make salawaat upon him! When you offer salawaat upon the Messenger of Allah, Allah not only solves your problems, He also protects you. It’s a salvation, a protection as well as a solution to your problems!
So although he is not physically present with us, he is aware of the salawaat we make upon him. If you make Salah upon the Prophet whilst you are nearby (I.,e near his grave) he will answer your salah, if you make it from afar, there are angels who will carry your salah and convey it to him, and he will respond to your salah upon him.
That’s the first part of the ayah, so hasten to make salawaat upon the Messenger of Allah - May Allah’s peace, blessings and mercy be upon him.
2. If you look at the second part of the same verse, Allah says: “…nor will He punish them while they seek (Allah's) Forgiveness.”
Allah promises not to punish those who continuously make istighfaar. Allah will forgive him! Your mouth should be overflowing with Istighfaar! When you see a calamity befalling you, you do whatever you can to try and prevent it, you take all the precautionary measures in order for it to avoid you and make the negative impact upon you as low as possible. Why then after being warned by Allah, as well as being given the solution, do you then ignore the salvage that is within the palms of your hand?!
Whoever says this hadith three times every day Allah will demolish ALL his sins, even if he were fleeing from the middle of the battlefield!
◦ Running away from the battlefield is considered a great destructive sin, of the major and biggest sins that can be committed. Why has this been mentioned here specifically? To emphasize the generosity and mercy of Allah. He is the All-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
استغفر الله الذي لا اله الا هو الحيَّ القيوم وأتوب إليه
I seek refuge in Allah, The AlMighty,
The One and the Only One,
The Ever-Living,
The One who sustains and protects all that exists,
I submit my repentance to the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

These Ikhwani organizations that slander and vilify the Muwahhideen don’t deserve to be supported nor promoted in the least.
You can claim you’re raising your voice for the oppressed and imprisoned Muslims all you want, but if you can’t shut up your slander regarding the only ones in the Ummah who have the guts to actually do something for them, then your words are nothing but hypocrisy.
Have some ghayrah over the honor of your brothers who left everything for Allāh and His religion. The least we can do is defend them from such accusations and not entertain those who are hell bent on issuing condemnations and slander. Why would you promote those who condemn them and slander them 24/7?? Would you promote someone who slandered your blood brother or sister? Wallahi we love the Muwahhideen more than our families, we can’t stand to hear a word of slander against them, may Allāh aid them!
