In the end, you will inevitably die. You will be washed, shrouded, prayed upon, and buried beneath dense layers in the darkness of the of the earth, in the same manner you were once covered by the darknesses in the comfort of your mother womb.
Your friends? They will surely forget you somewhere down the line, no matter how many promises they made to never cease supplicating for you. Your family? They will weep for a few numbered days, and then life will move on, regardless of how much they told you that they couldn't live without you.
5 years down the line, your friends will have their own families, your siblings will too. Your parents will be grandparents, and you become a faded memory. A memory recalled once in a while, when they reminisce upon the past that you happened to be part of. They will cry for your death one night, and the next moment a a happiness reaches them and they will forget all about you.
Humans are born, and they die. The cycle is continuous and unbreakable. And of course your loved ones may pray for you, but as life goes on other priorities will take precedence in filling their prayers.
So remember, Oh Children of Adam, that you will meet Allah Azza wa Jal with your deeds alone. The family for whom you abandoned practicing the religion out of fear of their reactions will not be there with you. The friends with which you wasted time and encouraged each other in sin will forget you. They will move on. So what benefit did you gain? What benefit did you gain when you feared them more than you feared Allah? What benefit did you gain, when you preferred obedience to the temporary beings over The Ever-Living Creator?
Don't be stupid and sacrifice an eternal paradise for a transient, fleeting dunya. Don't be stupid and disobey The Ever- Living Creator to gain the pleasure of the mortal, deficient creation.
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ
"Verily, you (O Muhammad ﷺ ) will die and verily, they (too) will die." [39:30]
“He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a stated term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection).”

Islam began upon something strange and it will return back to being something strange. In one narration, when the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked: Who the strangers are? He replied, they are those who correct themselves (following the Quran and Sunnah upon the methodology of the Sahabah رضي الله عنهم).
In another narration he said, they are those (who not only correct themselves), they correct others from their corruption (bringing them to the light of guidance and truth), in a time when the majority of the people are corrupt.
In another narration he said, they spread the Quran and Sunnah to the people. Those who correct my tradition from the corruption and innovation (they clear the Prophetic tradition from the fabrication, corruption and innovation).
But the strangers are only a small minority of people in a large population. A lot of people oppose them and stand against them but they do not care nor do they fear the blame of the blamers, they only seek the pleasure of their Lord. The majority of people are corrupt, most of mankind do not believe even if you desire it eagerly.
The strangers, they advise, they invite and call unto the way of Allah, the truth, they command the good and forbid the evil. They are sought after so they may be harmed but Allah will protect them from calamity and save the pious! They are working for Allah and Allah is there to protect them. They are indeed the best people on Earth, the deputy of the Prophets - seeking to bring victory to the religion of Allah.
That’s why, as the Prophet mentioned at the end of the Hadith, blessed are the strangers!

وآلمني وآلم كلّ حرٍّ *** سؤال الدّهر : أين المسلمونا؟
It hurts me and it hurts every person, the question of: “where are the Muslimīn?”
ترى هل يرجع الماضي؟ فإني أذوب لذلك الماضي حنينا
Do you think that past will ever return again? Because I melt in agony over the returning of that past.

“A more contemporary scenario, they cut the water off in the local city, you have bottled water you can use for Wudū’ or Ghusl in your house. But that water may be needed to drink and cook with. If one may die or cause himself harm if he makes Wudū’ because he will not have enough to drink, then he must save it for Wudū’, he must save that water for Wudū’ – and if he causes himself harm by doing Ghusl or Wudū’ knowing that he will need it to drink then he has committed a prohibited act.
And by ‘Ijmā’, by consensus, and the ‘Ijmā’ is related by Ibn Al-Mundhir Ibn Hubayrah and Ibn Hajar – that in such a situation where the water is needed or most likely will be needed for drinking, one should save that water for drinking and do Tayyamum instead of using it for Wudū’ and Ghusl.”

"The reason that friendships based on Islam and love for the sake of Allah are more solid and everlasting than friendships based on personal interests is because, as humans, our personal interests are constantly changing as time goes on, and we then tend to lose touch with those whom we developed connections with due to those old interests. But when it comes to friendship for the sake of Allah, where Islam is your biggest interest in such a friendship, then Islam is always something that remains important and central to our lives (insha'Allah), so a friendship based on that is never outgrown nor does it get old."

The REAL judges of your character are those you spend 24/7 with & around. Anyone can be courteous and good mannered with strangers you see once in a blue moon.
But if your family has nothing but good to say about you or very few complaints, that's a sure fire attestation to you having true Islamic manners. This is a very difficult level to reach, may Allah aid us. You have some, who will have the best of manners with every stranger. So much so, that whoever you ask about him is impressed and pleased with his conduct. But when you go and ask his mother, or his siblings, or his wife, you get nothing but complaints and criticism.
Good manners and character aren't meant to be a front that you put on in front of the world and discard once at home. It's a lifestyle and a personality that you adopt with the intention of emulating the example of our beloved prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), thereby pleasing Allah (سبحانه و تعالى).
Of course, there are always those family members to whom it doesn't matter how well you treat them, your Deen and 'Aqidah is enough to make you the worst person on the face of the Earth for them, and everything else good about you is out the window. Their opinions are irrelevant, may Allah guide them.

I ask Allah to make this video a proof for the believers, and a coolness for their eyes, and a thorn in the backs of those who try to dilute this perfect religion. I ask Allah to guide the sincere amongst the misguided, and infuriate the arrogant among them.…

The Trials of the Believers
“The tests come one after another, until a servant leaves this earth with not a single sin. Allāh wants to purify you and He wants to refine you. He wants you to meet him pure so you can be close to the 'Arsh. Refining and burning gold makes it pure (it takes the pure gold out & it purifies it), but pure gold doesn’t come out easy. It comes out on 1000 degrees Celsius or more, so it needs purification. Allāh is refining you and Allāh is purifying you.”

"And when Ibrahim said: My Lord! Make safe this territory, and preserve me and my sons from serving idols (shirk)." [Ibrahim 14:35]
In this ayah who were his sons he is worried over? His sons Ishaq and Isma'il, who were messengers of Allah. They were messengers yet he feared shirk over them. This is how heavy we should take shirk to be, as generation after generation of messengers came from prophet Ibrahim (ie Ishaq, Yaqoob, Yusuf) yet he feared shirk over them.
Ibrahim Taimy said, "Who can be secured of shirk after this verse!?!"

It Is A Lonely Path...
"Being that the seeker of the straight path (Siraat Al Mustaqeem) seeks what most men avoid, companions on his path are all too rare. Being disposed against loneliness and to intimacy and friendship, he is reminded by Allah the Exalted of companions on this path: “whom Allah has blessed from among the prophets, the Siddiqeen, the martyrs, and the righteous, and how wonderful are such companions!” [4:69]. He has attributed the the path to the companions who tread it, the ones whom Allah has blessed [1:6], so the seeker’s anguish of being alone among the people of his time and his kind may be allayed, and so he may know that his company on this path comprises the blessed ones, and not care about the opposition of those who divert from the path, for, though in majority, they are of little worth.
As one of the Predecessors said, “Follow the path of truth, let the scarcity of its travelers not make you feel lonely, and avoid the path of falsehood, and not let the abundance of the ruined deceive you.” If you ever feel lonely, look at those who have passed of old and yearn to join them, and turn your eyes away from those other than them, for the [unworthy many] will be of no avail to you against Allah. If they call out to you in your journey on the path, turn not to them, for if you do they will take you away and deprive you."
