The Commander of CENTCOM, General Kenneth F. McKenzie began a two-day visit to Israel today. At the center of the visit is a strategic situational assessment with the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi.

The Lebanese army force intervened and worked to remove the protesters from the municipality building.

The Tripoli municipality building was set ablaze by the protesters, and teams from the Civil Defense arrived to put out the fire after the Lebanese army cordoned off the place.
