🇮🇱 Although the IDF looks like a unique disciplined army, it is far from that and is plagued with theft on par with the worst armies.

Bullets, weapons, grenades, and personnel gear, are lost and in large quantities up to thousands. Even F-16 engines.

Never have we ever witnessed this in Lebanon.

In many cases it's the IDF connoscripts looking to get some extra cash, knowing that the consequences of theft if ever caught is minimal or none. This lawlessness caused dramatic increase in such crimes forcing the IDF to invest in special storage security locations and protocols.

One of the things IDF did lately is to lower the amount of personnel weapons available at active duty bases near the border. This year alone, tens of rifles were stolen along with tens of thousands of bullets (100k+).

For the IDF, this isn't the only issue 🔽

Bedouins are ravaging the bases on another level, especially in the south.

Here is a video from (likely) this year, of bedouins inside the Tselim base, stealing equipment in front of armed IDF soldiers without interruption.

Tonight was something similar. The news started several hours ago when a car was stolen near Dimona that caused a car chase with police. The thieves then waited till the gates of the IDF Nevatim AF base opened and rushed inside. It's that easy.

Now: The Air Force summoned the Air Force hunting helicopter commando unit at the huge base to search for the Bedouin car thieves who broke into it.

It's important to note that the IDF gave an order not to shoot to avoid getting shot back at in case the bedouins were armed to avoid damage to equipment.

Sweeping operations have been ongoing for more than two hours, and the Bedouins who stormed the Nevatim strategic air base in the south have yet to be found.

Nevatim Base Commander Brigadier General Omer Tessler is conducting sweep efforts with the help of the base's ground defense unit, the Sheldag special unit, helicopters and police forces - says the Air Force.

There is no danger to the aircraft squadrons at the base.

Shooting is reported on the Lebanese Palestinian border.

The current assessment is that the suspect/s of the break-in at Israeli airbase Nevatim, have successfully fled the base, however other officials are wary he/they are still hiding inside.

The enemy army announces the start of the "Lightning Storm" maneuver on the border with Lebanon. A number of roads will be closed and explosions will be heard on the border.

The maneuver aims to raise the readiness of the forces and prepare for several scenarios.
