🇮🇱 According to the Israeli army radio, the number of enlisted females has increased 3X from the previous years from 2,000 to 6,000.

This is allegedly due to the high motivation of females to serve and the need of soldiers after decreasing the mandatory service period.

Females mostly serve in border control missions (watching cameras) and in drone units.

Some serve in the air force and combat units.

After the council ended its session:

The National Agency: Three boys were injured in a grenade explosion in Sahl al-Nabi Othman in Hermel.

Update:

Israel will release the two shepherds they kidnapped, including a 15 year old minor, in this suspicious deal.

It seems they will not release the 'Hezbullah' Syrian operative from Al Ghajar.

SANA confirms the swap ended with the freedom of the two Syrian shepherds.

They were kidnapped by the IDF in Syria (cf video), on 2 and 7 February, a few days after a Jewish woman crossed the border into Syria and was arrested, likely for intel on her.

Nihal Al Maqt, from the Golan heights, was also freed. She can stay in her village of Majdal Shams, after she refused to move to Damascus.
