I have seen Dahyeh in 2006, the destruction was huge, and not a single military asset was there.

Even during the 2006 war, the IDF published images of loot from Hezbullah after they captured few villages. Did any of those have any rockets? None. Just small arms related to the ongoing battle inside the villages. Not a single 107 mm or 122 mm rocket in a house was found.

On this day on 19 March 1959 the IDF fired towards three Lebanese shepherds in the Lebanese village Markaba. The shepherds attempted to escape but one, Hussein Al Asmar, was kidnapped into Israel.

This was only days after they kidnapped two farmers, Hussein Hamdan and Mahmoud Taha from Mays al Jabal on 6 March 1959.

On this day, 18 March 1970 IDF artillery fired at 3 Lebanese village in eastern south Lebanon. One Lebanese civilian was killed and 5 other injured.

On this day, 18 March 1971, an IDF commandos group infiltrated into Lebanon to Aita Al Shaab.

On this day, 18 March 1976 IDF artillery attacked the outskirts of the Al Majideyih and Wazani villages destroying the vegetation. IDF forces that day also fired towards the Al Dhoyra village along with Yaren and Naqoura. They also manned a checkpoint in Kafarkela, Lebanon.
