Lebanon will pay the German company about $6,500,000 to remove them.

What a waste of money when we are in desperate need of dollars. What is then the purpose of having a "Lebanese Atomic Authority for Nuclear Energy".

Uranyl acetate is extensively used as a negative stain in electron microscopy. Most procedures in electron microscopy for biology require the use of uranyl acetate.
Contact can irritate the skin and eyes. Breathing Uranyl Acetate can irritate the nose, throat and lungs causing coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. High exposure to Uranyl Acetate can damage the blood cells causing anemia. Uranyl Acetate may damage the liver and kidneys
Uranyl acetate is both radioactive and toxic. Normal commercial stocks prepared from depleted uranium have a typical specific activity of 0.37–0.51 microcuries. This mild level of radioactivity is insufficient to be harmful while the material remains external to the body.
During 1982 invasion, IDF took everything nuclear related from Lebanon. They wouldn't have left this, from the 1970s if it was anything close to dangerous.
Condolences to Egypt over today's unfortunate accident.

I always used to wonder about how good the Mossad and the CIA is. But then I look at this ex IDF soldier, doing all the work and getting contacts everywhere without 1% of the Mossad and CIA resources.

I admit, he/she has skills. Disturbing nonetheless how easy it is. Very.
Israel's War Minister Benny Gantz was told:

“They say you are too good of a person, not a politician, not a killer.”

He replied: “Come on, my name is written on dozens of graves in Lebanon. No one should teach me what war is and how to decide war.”
