Jordan is currently purging some high rank officials due to an alleged ongoing coup.

Jordan News Agency: The arrest of several individuals, including Bassem Awadallah, the former head of the royal court and Sharif Hassan bin Zaid.

Basem Awadallah used to work as a consultant for the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and envoy between Jordan and KSA.

Israel doesn't actually care if the coup leaders were more loyal to the west and Israel then the current, the issue is they need to preserve the stability of Jordan. Because instability there will turn into a threat to Israel's stability.
