You mean Israel actually wanted to occupy Gaza and the west bank even before Fedayeen started to stage operations from there and you seriously mean Israel wanted to occupy Lebanon before the existence of Palestinian groups there or Hezbullah.

What makes Qana a tragedy like no other is the arrogance displayed by Israel and its patron: USA. They simply refused to take responsibility of attacking a UN base and causing hundreds of casualties

The USA made sure Israel faces zero accountability towards the killed or the UN

From 1996 until 2003, the UN General Assembly voted on a resolution that orders Israel to pay the costs of repairing the UNIFIL headquarters that it bombed (1.7 million dollars):

66 votes in favor of the resolution, versus two votes against (the United States and Israel).

This is why whenever the US steals Iranian or Libyan or Sudanese or... money to compensate for the dead American or foreign carrions killed in so called "terrorist" operations, make sure to call out their hypocrisy, as hypocrisy is the only god they worship.
