17 tons of hashish coming from Lebanon were seized and burned yesterday in Niger. It was passed through an African port. 12 Nigerians and 1 Algerian have been arrested. (https://www.actuniger.com/soci…)

I hope the Lebanese security forces, especially the two tasked with fighting narcotics (namely the customs, and the anti-narcotics "task force" in the ISF), are happy with the new reputation of Lebanon being a hub for drug manufacturing.
Hashish is grown on all main roads in Beqaa and all mountains there. It's visibile on Sattelite. It's not exactly complimented to shoot and kill some farmers and destroy their crops.

As for Captagon, minimalist intelligence work would give you access to any factory.
The Lebanese started drug careers by smuggling to Switzerland in the 1960s and 1970s.

If we want to end this clown show, it's easy (not exactly in a farm called Lebanon), by sending security forces and the army on raids in Beqaa. I bet we could destroy enough crops and factories in one day to setback the manufacturing for years.

When was the last time did you hear on the news that the Lebanese security apparatus raided a hash farm? Not in a decade and half. They only arrest end users and some factories.

There is no will from the government or the security forces to fight.
When Vice and BBC can do to Beqaa and meet drug lords and do interviews with zero blurring, or when Al Jadeed can meet Noah Zuaiter, I believe ISF and Leb army can do that too and reach them.

Hash aside, captagon is more serious and much more widespread.
