❔ Why neither Lebanon nor Gaza have bomb shelters?

1- Back in time, buildings in Lebanon used to have an underground floor to be used in case of shelling in the civil war or Israeli air raids.

2- From the 1990s and up to today, they were abandoned because IDF would literally bury you underground, while it destroys several-story buildings.

3- The Israeli shelters are for Gazan small-warhead rockets. Not for 1-ton missiles.

It's easier to think of death than being stuck for days without food and water (and fresh air?) underground under hundreds of tons of rubble.
