- Speech started
-Nasrallah: I will discuss several matters: 1) Coronavirus
-Nasrallah: We must consider ourselves in the midst of the battle, both in Lebanon and the region. This virus is a world war. It's a gov't priority the world over.
-Nasrallah: This is essential to understanding the matter and dealing with it. In this battle there is an enemy, and there targets. The targets must understand how to deal with this - and we can take lessons from how the resistance deals w/enemies to confront this.
-Nasrallah: The world is still trying to fully understand this enemy. But this enemy has spared no village, country, or even continent, or even the number of people it will affect. Some American media outlets have said this could reach into the hundreds of millions.

-Nasrallah: We must understand the nature of this enemy, so we do not panic.
-Nasrallah: The most dangerous part of this threat is its threat to life, not economy, school closures, etc. People's lives are the priority.
-Nasrallah: Everything else, including economic losses, can be recovered. People who die cannot be brought back to life.
-Nasrallah: Our decision must be confrontation of this threat. Lebanese were never united against any other danger. When the Israeli enemy invaded Lebanon, people debated how to respond. But now we must confront this invading enemy with resistance - we must not feel defeated.
-Nasrallah: This confrontation is the responsibility of everyone - the entire government, the cabinet - not just the Health Ministry. All other ministries, the judiciary, the parliament, army, security forces, municipalities, etc.

- Nasrallah: While we wait for the world to discover a cure for coronavirus, our goal should be to limit its spread and reduce the number of people dying from it, which is achievable.
- Nasrallah: We should deal positively with each other & come together over this issue. There is language being used that is unfitting and it won't achieve its political goals.
- Nasrallah: During this battle - whether we are Christian or Muslim, because we have shared beliefs in Judgement and End Times - we must have faith in God, and we have a duty to care for one another.
- Nasrallah: You will be asked about this duty on the Day of Judgement, and violation this is a great sin.
- Nasrallah: We must approach this duty to confront the coronavirus with unity as we have dealt with prior political, military issues, like liberating our land and defending our country.
- Nasrallah: If you have symptoms you should go to hospital and get checked. You can not shy and keep this a secret. You will jeopardize your safety and safety of all people.
- Nasrallah: It is a sin to hide this. It is a sin to not declare it. However infects others and results in their death is responsible for their death.
- Nasrallah: We must have no social shame to admit if one of us contracts this virus. If you don't seek treatment, you are committing a great sin -- because you could lead to your own dearth or those of others. So be honest and transparent.

- Nasrallah: Anyone accusing Hezbollah of trying to cover up coronavirus infections is lying.
- Nasrallah: I don't mind criticism or people expressing their opinions, but we must avoid division; I hope the coronavirus does not cause regional, ethnic and sectarian division among people while we fight this battle.
- Nasrallah: The UK government has not been transparent or honest about coronavirus infections. Neither has the United States.
- Nasrallah addresses Lebanon's Health Ministry and says you must keep going, and even if the number of deaths grows very high you must be transparent and announce them. "It's the people's right to know," he says.
- Nasrallah: Donald Trump has been minimizing the issue, saying it is less of an emergency than the normal flu.
- Nasrallah: The governor of Ohio then admitted that the U.S. might have 100,000 infections. So the world's biggest liar on coronavirus is Donald Trump, and VP. Now, SecPompeo shamelessly claims Iran is covering up its illnesses.
- Nasrallah: That Ali Akbar Velayati - a hospital doctor - has contracted the coronavirus is a source of pride, because he's a hospital doctor who is treating people firsthand.
- Nasrallah: If Donald Trump is serious about helping Iran to confront the coronavirus, then the U.S. should lift its sanctions off of Iran. Otherwise, this is another instance of American hypocrisy.

- Nasrallah: In terms of personal behavior, please behave as if you are in a war. Avoid religious congregations, work unless absolutely necessary, celebrations, public gatherings, meetings, or even funerals of martyrs, etc.
- Nasrallah: Under normal circumstances, participating in the funeral of a martyr or their memorials is a beautiful thing. But not now -- until we get past this matter.
- Nasrallah: The family of the martyr itself should tell people to avoid funerals. Forget customs and traditional behaviors for now. The more that people can avoid each other, the better.
- Nasrallah: I want to convey our gratitude to all healthcare providers, because they are on the frontlines of dealing with this matter.
- Nasrallah salutes medical staff at the Rafik Hariri University Hospital which has been on the frontlines of the coronavirus battle.
Says they should be given more than just the wages they are owed, perhaps a bonus.
- Nasrallah: Healthcare workers who become infected with coronavirus and die in the line of duty are considered martyrs.
- Nasrallah: Everyone should also begin preparing now for the worst possible outcome and scenarios.

- Nasrallah: Nasrallah making the case for people losing their sources of income due to the quarantine: “countless people will lose their wages, creating a welfare and social security crisis. The government should take this into consideration. Social security should be protected.
- Nasrallah calls on Lebanese banks to extend a helping hand to the government. "You have made large profits since 1993, now is the time to act responsibly."
- Nasrallah: This battle [against Coronavirus] needs patience and stamina...The most dangerous thing in any battle is panic and fear.
- Nasrallah: If death comes, then we must accept our fate and the will of God Almighty.

- Nasrallah: We have to be strong in the face of this threat, even if the truth is hard. The strong are those who will remain and who will be victorious.

- Nasrallah: Hezbollah has not placed an economic plan or forced one on the government. This is the government's job, we only assisted.
- Nasrallah: Regarding international monetary organizations - i.e. the IMF - we have no objection to the government seeking the advice of any international body.
- Nasrallah: Any foreign or international entity that wishes to provide any unconditioned aid or loan to Lebanon, we have no objection.
- Nasrallah: For example if we are offered billions in return for permanently settling Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, no-one can agree to that.
- Nasrallah: We in Hezbollah are against any condition that would raise the VAT to 15% or 20%.
