-- Decision to set up checkpoints for the army and security forces will be effective starting tomorrow to prevent buses from operating on roads.

-- Diab: We are in a state of medical emergency, so the government is announcing a general mobilization until the end of March 29.

-- PM Diab: We have successfully slowed the spread of the coronavirus and we have developed a scientific, practical and proactive strategy to protect the Lebanese people.

-- Diab: I call on the Lebanese people to be on the highest level of alert to contain the coronavirus.

-- Lebanon Cabinet announces it will close all land, sea, air borders - including Beirut's Rafik Hariri International airport effective Wednesday - as country goes into a partial lockdown over coronavirus.

All citizens urged to stay home unless for urgent movement.

🇺🇸🇱🇧 -- After continuous pressure from the US ambassador in Lebanon, the military court, lenient with spies and Israeli proxies, has pardoned the butcher of the infamous prison Al-Khiam.

Ammar Fakhoury the Butcher is now free.

🇱🇧 -- Eleven Jesuits in Bikfaya and Beirut have been infected with coronavirus.

It was one Jesuit who was infected and held 3 masses during the last few weeks, disregarding the warning of the government.

-- Lebanon now has two new cluster cases that will raise the number of infections.

The Jesuit cluster that has infected at least 11, and the chef in the Americans University hospital that has infected a colleague until now.

-- Lebanon also announced two more recoveries, who have been tested twice in 48 hours and gave negative results.

-- Banks decided to close even though the government said they can't. Banks simply took this as an excuse to close because they don't have cash anymore.

The problem is. In times like these where Coronavirius is a huge risk, do banks really think this is the best way to keep people safe and avoid community transmission?
