Shortage of fuel:

An insight into the crisis:

Out of the 3,300 petrol stations in Lebanon, only 500 are getting gasoline from import companies, according to Jamal Makki, a member of the Syndicate of Petrol Station Owners.

These stations are owned by the import companies themselves, which are the ones dominating the market: Coral, Total, Wardieh, etc. They import, they sell, and they are the ones smuggling large amounts of subsidized gasoline into Syria.
