-- Several villages in mount Lebanon started to self isolate themselves by placing rocks and soil on their main road.
-- Lebanese army helicopters flew over Beirut today and using large speaker ordered people to stay home and avoid unnecessary movement on the streets.
-- Interior minister Fahmi: The government was proactive in adopting appropriate protection measures in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, but unfortunately some citizens in various Lebanese regions did not adhere to the binding preventive safety measures.

🇮🇱 -- 2 Israeli jets noted over Lebanon at a medium altitude.

Prior to this sortie a UAV was noted over the south and middle sectors of the country.
-- Weird that the NGOs we saw during Lebanese “thawra”, planning and organizing, logistics, funding, ideas and marketing.. suddenly disappeared when it came to fighting the coronavirus eminent threat.

No press conference, no awareness camp, no funding, no humanitarian intervention. Many questions are raised.
-- Jumblatt to MTV: I will donate $500,000 to Hariri Hospital and $100,000 to the Lebanese Red Cross.
-- Security Forces: 478 tickets were issued today for violations of the general mobilization decision.
-- The ex minister and journalist May Chediac tested positive for Coronavirius.

She got infected during her visit to France last week.
-- Mohamad Al Safadi is the second Lebanese politician and ex parliament member who is infected with Coronavirius.
-- A shop owner in Tripoli (kept working at the shop), who was being tested for coronavirus, did not adhere to the order of self quarantine. He tested positive today leading to unrest and and call for urgent emergency procedures in the city.
🇱🇧 -- The next 7 days will be critical for Lebanon's COVID-19 crisis. We're right in between an exponential and a linear growth trajectory. Stricter measures should be done soon.

Note: Most of the new cases are related to a wedding in France that hosted 8-9 Lebanese politicians and few TV reporters in MTV and TL.
🇱🇧-- Lebanon: Lebanese army intelligence officers setup random checkpoints to enforce the use of protective face masks and gloves and closed down non-food related shops in Beirut areas. @nauala
-- AUBMC will no longer receive coronavirus patients, despite having a floor equipped for these cases.

Why? Because it's reserved for the VIP patients.
