Israeli PM Naftali Bennett, on the 2006 war:

"This was the last time the IDF conducted a large-scale ground invasion. As a commander of an infantry reserve force, and from the depth of the field, I saw what a military campaign looks like when preparations for it are insufficient, when the goals are vague."
Shortage of fuel:

Electricity of Lebanon announces that it is in the process of suspending the Deir Ammar and Al-Zahrani powerplants sequentially and reducing production capacity due to a severe shortage of fuel.

Governmental electricity is barely providing 2 hours a day already.
IDF: Deputy Lieutenant Shili Westland (22), a cadet in an officers' course, collapsed in the middle of the week at a base in the 1st Infantry Division.

The reason for her death: a medical incident that is under confidentiality, according to the IDF.

Westland: Scottish: habitational name from a place so called. ‘Westlandis, called the Leyes of Tullochaddie’ were granted to the Marquis of Huntly in 1638.

Asman: Americanized form of German As(s)mann, a much altered derivative (pet form) of the personal name Erasmus, which was popular among humanists in the Netherlands, Denmark, and northern Germany during the 16th century.
Lebanese Ministry of Health:

"3 cases of the dangerous mutant of the coronavirus known as “Delta” were recorded in travellers coming to Lebanon at the airport after completing additional tests."
Al-Akhbar newspaper: There are 7 cases of the Indian Delta COVID-19 in Lebanon, three of which came through the airport, while the rest are local.
Illegal outpost on Mount Sabih:

50 settler families have evacuated the outpost of "Avitar" (a.k.a. "Evyatar") under a deal with the new occupation government. The latter, not to return the land, will set a military base and keep the mobile homes intact, until the land ownership rights are "reviewed".

MoD ⁠Benny Gantz has insisted that the illegal community must be dismantled and the quicker the better, because of major friction with the Palestinians.
Illegal outpost on Mount Sabih:

In a provocation, just before the deadline to vacate Mount Sabih today at 4 ⁠pm, residents have constructed a 10-meter David star and raised a large occupation flag.
Lebanese News and Updates
Lebanese Ministry of Health: "3 cases of the dangerous mutant of the coronavirus known as “Delta” were recorded in travellers coming to Lebanon at the airport after completing additional tests."
Ministry of Health: "9 cases of the Delta variant were recorded recently among travellers from Ethiopia, Riyadh, UAE and Baghdad."

"The ministry is still struggling to reduce and contain the cases, so we appeal to everyone to share responsibility."
West Bank: Ghadanfar is on hunger strike against his administrative detention. This is his 4th detention since 2013, with no trial or charge.

"We warn of the seriousness of the health condition of the prisoner Ghadanfar Abu Atwan ⁠(28), who is on hunger strike for the 60th consecutive day, in refusal of his administrative detention." (Palestinian Committee for Prisoners)

He is now at the hospital, with detention on hold, but still in custody. It means that Israel takes no responsibility if he dies.
A young man was killed by a mine explosion while swimming in the Naher Al Kabir river in the Al-Aboudia region - Akkar.
After an armed clash over fuel inside a petrol station in Brital area, Beqaa, the army raided the homes of the shooters and confiscated rockets, weapons, drugs, and fake currency.
