The Lebanese army arrested a state security unit at a petrol station. The latter issued a statement claiming it was a misunderstanding, as they were in civilian clothes and getting gasoline.

The story on the street says the Lebanese army arrested them for allegedly taking and giving money to allow themselves to get gasoline at the expense of everyone else.

Lebanese health ministry:

294 new COVID-19 cases, the highest in weeks, has been recorded in the past 24 hours.

Two new deaths were also added to the death toll.

Qatari MFA's visit in Lebanon:

President Aoun met with the Qatari minister of foreign affairs at Baabda Palace and informed him of Lebanon's gratitude to Qatar's permanent support and any future Qatari help to solve the current crisis.

The Qatari MFA conveyed to President Aoun the greetings of the Emir and his country's readiness to help solve the crises affecting Lebanon at all levels.
