🔥 Hot numbers

Reconstituting and rehabilitating Gaza costs between $380 and $450 million dollars.

According to FDD senior researcher Jonathan Schanzer, Israel paid much more for just Iron Dome interceptors during the 11-day battle.

Israel's financial loss is massive. It is the cost of the Iron Dome interceptors, but also the operation of 160 jets, drones, their armaments, and the troop deployment.
If we assume IDF used at least 3,600 interceptors (IDF hasn't released detailed numbers), and IDF paid $500 million in a low estimate:

Considering 1 Tamir per incoming rocket, the average cost of a Tamir interceptor is $138,000.

Considering 2 Tamirs, the average cost is $70,000.

Israel has manufactured a minimum of 30,000 interceptors. At least 10,000 have been used since 2011.

It turned out to be a dumb idea later on. The landing at Dar Al-Hekma Hospital in Baalbek was done by the Shaldag unit. The evaluation of the landing was poor."

Note: They kidnapped civilians thinking they are Hezbullah & ended up releasing them days after. (1/2)

Note: Until today, pictures of the commander Emmanuel Moreno are secret. He's a French Jew of Maghrebi descent.
