What USA meant by pressure on the Lebanese politicians can be understood in this video (Arabic).

USA controls the actions of our politicians and the money the central bank is allowed to spend.
Pentagon to Sky News Arabia:

"Hezbollah does not control Lebanon, but it has great influence, and Lebanon's leaders are unable to agree on political and economic reforms."

"The Lebanese army, through our financing, arming and training, will be able to protect the entire Lebanese territory."

Israeli police foiled the smuggling of about 42 handguns from Lebanon to occupied Palestine, estimated at 825,000 USD.

Just to note: Israeli police price estimation is wrong. No way a gun is priced at 20,000 USD each.

Video of the smugglers.

Quite an interesting development on the border.
According to a friend, these handguns are Glock 17, 19, 20, 23, 26.

Some have ZEV Technologies parts, with slides going alone for $600. These are very expensive parts and exclusive to USA markets only.

Check out this article from 2017. Handguns have always been expensive and considered weapons of status. 500-600$ Glocks in the USA would be sold here for $3,000.

Energa's found in Beirut:

Photo of the Energa grenades and anti-personnel land mines discovered by security forces in a bin. They were likely dumped after receiving a tip of an incoming raid.
⋯ They were located in Ashrafieh, a place with considerable Lebanese Forces presence, in their original cases, all new and not old stock.

I couldn't ID them, but I suspect they might be of Iranian origin.
Investigation on port blast:

Parliament speaker Nabih Berri and interior minister Mohammed Fahmy refused to allow Judge Bitar to prosecute a list of officials.

In protest, families of victims set off for a car rally towards the Parliament and the Ministry of Interior, in addition to a third point that was not disclosed, describing it as a “surprise”.
Israeli media:

"Security officials believe the smuggled guns on the Lebanese border last night, were destined to be used for attacks in Israel along the border."

Is Hezbullah arming the arabs of the Galilee!?
Investigation on port blast:

Families of victims met with the Minister of Interior: "We had hoped for a positive outcome, but it is clear that he is caught between two great fires. Or he is under pressure, and he cannot escape this pressure. Or he is burdened by the ministry's legal department."
