On this day, 12 July 2006, Islamic Resistance Hezbullah successfully ambushed an IDF convoy, kidnapping 2 and killing 2 others in a 6 minute ambush inside occupied Palestine.

Hezbullah's objective was a swap deal to free all Lebanese-Arab prisoners from Israeli prisons.

IDF then attempted to cross into Lebanon with a Merkava tank, to only move over a large IED placed by Hezbullah that destroyed it and killed all 4 onboard.

IDF leadership watched this happen live in Tel Aviv. The tank tower is said to have flew 200 m away from the explosion site

Fingers crossed Hezbullah's military media releases new footage of the 2006 ambush and war tomorrow.

We deserve to see more.

Lebanon's football curse:

After meeting with Saudi officials in KSA, the ambassadors of the USA and France met the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon at his home in Yarzeh, Beirut.
