The General Directorate of State Security announced, in a statement, that it had seized a large quantity of diesel, estimated at 43,000 liters, stored in the town of Maaroub, Tyre district, and about 3,000 liters of gasoline.
The statement added that "25,000 liters of that diesel was given to the town's generators under the supervision of the municipality, according to the official price.
