A force of the Lebanese Army commandos, and a large number of fighters and tanks are now deployed throughout Khaldeh.

"We did not spare any effort not to enter into a battle in which we have
no relationship with, and we refuse to pay the bill (be used) for the battle against Hezbullah’s weapons."

During the funeral of the oppressed martyr Ali Shibli to his final resting place in the southern town of Konin, and when the funeral procession arrived at the family’s home in the Khaldeh area, the mourners were subjected to a planned ambush and heavy shooting by gunmen in the area.

As a result, two mourners were killed and several injured.

The Hezbollah leadership, as it follows the issue with great interest and accuracy calls on the army and security forces to intervene decisively to impose security and to work quickly to stop the criminal killers and arrest them in preparation for bringing them to trial."

A while ago, a car in Khaldeh detonated after catching fire.

- Al-Jadeed: Army vehicles withdrew from the Khaldeh highway towards the inner neighborhoods, as traffic returned to normal pace.

- Elders from Khaldeh Arabs are currently holding a meeting tonight, but until now, no perpetrator has been extradited to security forces.
