Deputy Secretary General of Hezbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem:

- We will not accept to be attacked (by Israel) even if our response leads to luring the Israelis into a wide battle, because then the decision to start that battle will be on Israel.

- If we did not respond, the Israelis would have received wrong signals and repeated the attacks. We will respond regardless of the internal political situation in Lebanon.
