⬥ The mayor of Al-Tleil, Joseph Mansour, told Al-Jadeed: There was no shooting and the explosion of the fuel tank was caused by someone igniting a “lighter”.

After FPM got accused of the fuel tank ownership, they issued the following statement:

"The owner of the land is known for his closeness to the Future Movement and he votes for one of its deputies, Tariq Al-Merhebi. The owner of the reservoirs in that land was arrested two months ago for smuggling, and has a relationship with two representatives from the Future Movement, Walid Al-Baarini and Muhammad Suleiman."
