In short, the Maghdoucheh Ankoun clash is not a Shia-Christian clash, or an anti-Christian campagin. It is like any clash over fuel that has been happening in the past year.
Aounists and Geagea's party are simply investing politically in the issue for election votes.
What happened is that Maghdoucheh was supposed to allow Ankoun locals to buy petrol, but then backtracked, knowing Ankoun is out of petrol. This caused a thugish and bandit-like response from locals in Ankoun against Maghdoucheh's petrol station.
Another aggression followed
A meeting will likely take place today between elders in the two villages, in presence of Amal officials and likely Hezbullah and other Christian parties to end this.
It won't expand, nor will it last. Maghdoucheh-Ankoun is a bitter duo from the civil war era.

Joe Biden was not taking a nap.
After watching the full segment, journalists noted that Biden lowered his head only after Bennett's words on the "difficult days" in Afghanistan (01:09) and a long speech about a "prophecy". He continued to move his fingers and immediately answered.
A prophecy by the prophet Isaiah...

⋯ In a Jewish prophecy, the USA must die and Israel will prevail.
A belief firmly established among mainstream rabbis, America is "Edom", "an offshoot of Jacob's brother Esau", that is doomed to "self-destruct". Rabbi Weisberg comments: "It sounds depressing but, it is actually a cause for celebration". Comparing Washington's demise to the biblical city of Jericho, he recalls that Edom "shall be nothing" (Isaiah 34:12).
Must watch IDF Major Reservist Amir Tsarfati teach next month that USA must perish. He's a Jew from Israel, touring the USA to teach Christians on Christianity.

Yesterday: The mother of the sniper calls on the settlers not to send their sons to the army, and the soldiers not to serve on the Gaza border, putting their officials in the line of confrontation with Hamas instead of receiving salaries while sitting in their offices.
The oversensitivity of the Israeli society and politicians to such irrelevant and small casualties is outstanding. What is the worth of one soldier in the overall worth of the Israeli project, irrelevant.
