Palestine: At dawn, 6 Palestinian prisoners from PIJ and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade escaped from Gilboa maximum security prison by digging a tunnel to the outside.

Security forces only knew they are missing after a Zionist farmer reported suspicious personnel near his lands.

Thirty years ago, in 1991, an escape attempt was made through a tunnel from inside the prison camp. The one who led this attempt was Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas today in Gaza.
