The Lebanese army is attempting to confront a number of snipers who opened fire at the army from one of the buildings opposite Badaro Street.

Al-Jadeed correspondent: The army managed to arrest a sniper on Badaro Street.

At least one protestor was killed and 3 others were injured in sniper fire from the surrounding buildings.

Explosions are now heard

This would mark the second ambush Hezbullah supporters suffered this year.

The first led to 3 dead and many wounded by Arabs of Khaldeh.

The second led to at least 1 dead and several injured by what seems to be the “counter-street” that Samir Geagea spoke of yesterday.

Explosions renewed. Seems to be deep and not big.

A number of the wounded arrived at Al-Sahel Hospital, who were shot in Tayouneh.

The Lebanese army announced that they will shoot any armed personnel seen in the streets.

The total number of victims killed in the ambush rises to 2 and injured to up to 21.

Rami Zuaiter, one of the casualties of the treacherous sniping event at the sit-in in the locality of Tayouneh, is in critical condition.

The two victims were shot dead in the head.

A women was killed by a bullet to the head inside her house in a building in Tayouneh.

Intense one-sided shooting continues. All fire is directed towards a few buildings.

Snipers and shooters are surrounded inside a building as the Lebanese army is advancing towards them now.

Intense shooting by locals at two buildings where sniper fire originated from.

RPGs or grenades were likely used.

The two buildings shot at, still contains shooters who are shooting back according to LBC.

The Lebanese army is doing nothing, just watching.

The number of injured protestors and locals rose to 60.
