The head of the US delegation to the indirect negotiations to demarcate the border between Lebanon and Israel, Amos Holstein, arrived in Beirut this afternoon at the head of a delegation.

Amos is an Israeli, who served in the IDF. A clear breach of neutrality.

The price of gasoline and diesel rose sharply overnight to:

- Gasoline 20L 98 octane: 312,700 LBP
- Gasoline 20L 95 octane: 302,700 LBP
- Diesel 20L: 270,700 LBP
- Cooking gas 10 kg: 229,600 LBP

President Aoun received the new American-Israeli mediator in the negotiation process for the demarcation of the southern maritime border, Ambassador Amos Hochstein, and presented with him the future of the negotiation process.

⋯ Hochstein was born and raised in Israel to American parents and served in the Israel Defense Forces from 1992 to 1995. He served during the Israeli occupation of Lebanon and the 1993 war. He intended to stay in Israel after college.

This is not his first visit to Lebanon.

The families of victims among the firefighter brigade described the move of those who rejected Al-Bitar as “treachery and dissent”.

Maritime border negotiations:

The Israeli soldier, supposedly the neutral American mediator between Lebanon and Israel, also met several Lebanese ministers including the minister of energy.

Syrian resistance forces attacked the American-occupied 55km-large zone "Al-Tanf" with 5 projectiles.

This comes as a retaliation for USA's support to Israeli airstrikes on Syria from Al-Tanf no-fly zone.
