Yesterday, Lebanese journalist Raghida Dergham tried to embarrass Russian President Putin by asking him several questions about Lebanon and Hezbollah at the Valdai Forum in Sochi.

...but Putin disappointed her expectations.

In the port explosion case, the attorney general Imad Qabalan endorsed the decision of the Supreme Defense Council and Interior Minister, refusing to prosecute the head of the State Security Tony Saliba and of the Public Security Abbas Ibrahim.
Officially, the military judiciary issued a summon order against the head of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Geagea, with a request to hear his testimony regarding the Tayouneh ambush.
The Lebanese army, in a PR campagin, distributed 3,900 parcel of cleaning diturgents donated by the USA, to several institutes.

The parcels had the USA flag on them.

Reports: The Lebanese army raided a house owned by former "Future Movement" MP Khaled Daher in Benin, Akkar, north Lebanon, confiscating weapons and ammunition, and arresting three people.
Former MP Daher has been constrained to a one-month search & investigation by Judge Hani Al-Hajjar, the assistant government commissioner to the Military Court. A quantity of military weapons and ammunition was seized in his possession, exceeding the needs of his bodyguards.

Officially, the military judiciary issued a summon order against the head of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Geagea, with a request to hear his testimony regarding the Tayouneh ambush.
Update: Army Intelligence Directorate, responsible for the investigations into Tayouneh ambush, will dispatch one of the officers to the residence of the head of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Geagea, to listen to his testimony in the file, for “security and health reasons".

Note: Though there is no security or health reasons, this was done to not humiliate Samir Gaegae by forcing him to go to MoD for investigations, after pressure from political and religious authorities in Lebanon.
Raw material and food goods distribution companies will start to charge for delivery, as an added fee on waybills, around Lebanon.

Companies in general will increase prices by 10-15% over the increase of fuel prices.
