Hezbullah praises the brave and honorable stance taken by His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. George Kordahi, in defense of the oppressed people of Yemen.

"We categorically reject any call to dismiss Minister Kordahi or push him to resign, and we consider these calls a blatant attack on Lebanon, its dignity and sovereignty. We denounce the statements against him by some mercenary Lebanese politicians and journalists."

Notice: Winter time has begun 7 minutes ago in Palestine and Syria.

It will start on Sunday at 00:00 in Lebanon (it will be Saturday 23:00 instead).
During his visit to Iraq, the Lebanese prime minister informed his Iraqi counterpart Lebanon's inability to pay for the Iraqi fuel shipments.
With the end of the current year, Lebanon will receive an additional supply of electricity of up to three hours per day.

These hours come from electrical energy produced by Jordan and transmitted to Lebanon via Syria through the eight-connection network.

Under the agreement, after USA lifted its veto, Lebanon will pay for the energy received from Jordan with the a loan funded by the World Bank.

In return, Syria will get a quantity of electric power paid for by the loan itself in exchange for the energy transit.
📞 Lebanese Minister of Communications: The situation is dire. Yesterday the army gave us a quantity of diesel to continue operating for 4 days and keep the telecommunication sector afloat, but there may be a temporary or partial interruption.

Lebanese ministries abstain from purchasing Iranian diesel, though abundant and at cheaper prices in LBP, due to possible USA sanctions that could aggravate the current collapse in Lebanon.
Important: Thread detailing the results of the Lebanese army investigations into the Tayyouneh ambush. Long thread to follow:
⋯ Army intelligence investigators attached the investigation file, consisting about 100 pages, a video showing the beginning of the controversy that occurred on October 14.
⋯ The video shows how the quarrel began between protesters and someone called Gilbert Marassidian.
The latter appeared alone, angry, moving towards the demonstrators who were passing on the main street on their way to the Palace of Justice.
⋯ After he arrived, insults were exchanged followed by a large number of demonstrators entering the side street, where they beat and knocked him to the ground. Riots ensued.

They were lured into a trap.
⋯ The situation then developed into direct contact with groups of the “Lebanese Forces” that were deployed at the Freer intersection, under the supervision of the head of security official in Maarab Simon Musallam.
⋯ Investigations indicate that he moved with dozens of armed men the night before the massacre to survey the area with the LF military official in Ain El-Remmaneh, Elias Nakhleh.
⋯ The investigation also included another video of a Kia car owned by Nabil Daoud, showing the moment Elias Nakhleh, Edgar Rizk and Salam Abu Nicola got out and headed towards the trunk of the car where Simon Mussallem was. They took out two AKM rifles from the trunk.
⋯ Army intelligence investigations proved that armed groups from the “Lebanese Forces” mobilized in the internal streets of Ain al-Remmaneh from the night before the demonstration, and were stationed at the exact point where the first clash took place.

Bunkering down for an ambush
