After a social media attack on the Iranian football team over the number of their bags, the Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi, directed a letter to Airport security to open an investigation to find out if their bags were searched or not.
⚽️ To satisfy the (odd) Lebanese government request, the Iranian football team published photos of the contents of their bags.

Captagon: Technically, it's all produced on the Syrian-Lebanese border in villages with no government or security forces presence. Lots of empty lands and no governance.

Public Security Service: Suspension of applications for obtaining or replacing biometric passports (the ones valid for 5 years) until further notice due to technical problems.
