🇱🇧 Lebanon recorded 63 new cases, the highest in weeks, just as the government was planning to announce Lebanon is free of COVID-19.
The sudden increase was distributed as 36 locals, and 27 returnees who were infected outside Lebanon. Of those 36, 34 are traced cases by earlier spread caused by the neglect of the returnees.
Information minister Amal Abdel Samad: We are studying the nature of the coronavirus cases and the repatriation flights are the main reason for them, and they can be contained; as for cases among residents, they are caused by disrespect towards the general mobilization measures. @COVID19Up
