15 year-old oppressed Palestinian Noufoz Hamad carried an operation against a settler in Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem.

Context: Noufoz is threatened of eviction by an Israeli court, along with every Arab house in the neighborhood. After eviction, her family will be made homeless and replaced by Jews. (Map here)

On August 2, the court suggested to let the Palestinians live in their houses as “protected tenants”, requiring them to pay a rent to the new owners (Jewish settlers). The occupation police have intensified pressure on the Arab residents since then.

Among the settlers is Yacob, the Jewish settler from Long Island, New York.
