Palestine: An officer at the Israeli prison of Nafha in the Naqab [Negev], was lightly injured (stabbed) by a male prisoner in retaliation to the ill treatment that Palestinian female prisoners are subjected to.

The ill treatments concern Damon Prison near Haifa, and according to the Palestinian Detainees Association, it has included since December ⁠15:
- beatings,
- stripping hijabs,
- depriving of showers,
- depriving of family visits,
- spraying pepper gas inside the cells,
- putting 6 in solitary confinement (incl. Shorouq Dweiat, Mona Qadan and Marah Bakier).

Yesterday, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad told QNN that “Israeli jailers will not go unpunished".

⋯ Update: The repression units of the occupation prisons administration handcuffef the male prisoners of Section 12 in Nafha prison with iron chains, and left them in the prison yard without covers or clothes.

There is a rain and cold storm ongoing now in Palestine.

A new rise in the price of fuel (per 20L):

- Gasoline 95 octane: 325,000 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 336,400 LBP
- Diesel: 337,100 LBP
- Gas: 297200 LBP

That's about 12.04 USD for gasoline and 12.27 USD for diesel.

In 2021, "the import of live beef decreased by 40 percent compared to 2019. The import of live sheep meat also decreased by 65 percent, and the import of chilled meat by 50 percent."

A few political goals now being attempted by USA-KSA in Lebanon (I'll elaborate further later):

1- Ensure 14-March and NGO parties get the parliament majority in 2022, allowing Samir Geagea or the current army Chief Commander to become the president.

⋯ 2- Ensure Hezbullah's Christian allies lose many of their parliament seats, making the Lebanese Forces party as the leading representative of Lebanese Christians.

⋯ 3- Propose giving back Lebanon's Maritime rights and thus allowing it to extract oil and gas, and a promise of Israeli withdrawal from parts of Shebaa farms as a deal if Hezbullah surrenders its weapons or becomes part of the Lebanese army and under its command.
