A Hezbullah owned gas station franchise was sanctioned a couple of months ago.
It has branches in Beirut, north/south Lebanon with profits solely for funding the well being of the families of the Martyrs of Hezbullah. It is also one of few still selling at official prices.
And as excepted Lebanese adhered to US sanctions against Hezbullah, fuel suppliers stopped supplying them with gas. They officially announced they are out of gas yesterday. These gas stations employ hundreds and take care of thousands of families, and supply tens of thousands.
This will surely not go unanswered for, and it is very likely people will stop trucks from supplying other stations unless this gas station gets its fair share of supplies. Such actions, under the unannounced acceptance of the government, is unacceptable.
