Last night, an IAF IDF helicopter crashed into the sea, killing Lt. Col. Erez Shahanei, deputy commander of Ramet David airbase and Capt. Hen Fogel.
Chen Fogel was the deputy commander of the 193rd Squadron.
Interestingly, Fogel is the son of Gil Fogel, a phantom pilot who was shot down over Lebanon and returned from captivity after two years in 1984.

President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued separate statements in support of Saudi Arabia, after Hezbullah's SG Nasrallah's speech where he called out KSA for its support of terrorism in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.
Mikati's call for Hezbullah to “become Lebanese” angered Hezbullah's political bloc who in return issued several statements. In the last elections, Hezbullah got 343,220 votes, the greatest number of votes in Lebanon, while Mikati's party got only 39,586.

The drone is a small commercial one, downed using soft-kill measures.

A dispute occurred between a number of locals and Irish soldiers working within the UNIFIL Forces in one of Bint Jbeil's neighborhoods.
The problem occurred after a number of residents objected the soldiers photographing residential houses. The objection developed into a scuffle, and some broke the windows of the patrol cars that were not escorted by the Lebanese army, as normally required by Resolution 1701.
