⋯ On 17 ⁠January, representatives of the European Union visited the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem, in protest of the imminent eviction of Salhiya family, calling it illegal under international law.

Today, Human Rights Watch [HRW] Communications Coordinator Emilie McDonnell denounced: “The forcible expulsion of the Salhiya family and demolition of their home in Sheikh Jarrah are war crimes. This is what apartheid and persecution looks like. Perpetrators should be prosecuted and sanctioned.”

⋯ On the other hand, coerced exodus of Palestinians is happening in the Naqab [Negev], and their lands confiscated, under the pretext of “planting trees”.

All Israeli politicians have recently participated in this tree-planting campaign by the settler organization “Jewish National Fund”, while the IDF and police arrested dozens of land owners.

What goes around comes around, and it is for certain that Palestinians won't be kind when they rule these lands again.

The dollar exchange rate dropped to below the price of the Central Bank's exchange platform and reached 23,900 LBP. Why did this happen? Watch the following (Arabic).
After rising back to 25,000 LBP, the dollar exchange rate decreased back to 23,700 LBP/USD.
