Akkar governorate has not received a single hour of electricity for about 2 weeks.

EDL said that stations in Halba, Qoubaiyat and Beit Mlat have been offline till further notice, due to the difficulty and high expenses needed to repair the electrical network.
The Ministry of Economy just announced that the price of bread will increase to:
- 6,000 LBP for the small bag (360g)
- 10,000 LBP for the medium bag (825g)
- 13,000 LBP for the big bag (1125g).
⋯ It is worth mentioning that bread used to cost 1,500 LBP before the economic collapse, and this is by no means affordable to any middle class or lower class Lebanese.
⋯ What is further expected to complicate the matter is an expected Russian ban on sugar and wheat exports, according to Russian media.

Lebanon imports 80% of its wheat from Ukraine and 15% from Russia.
Just weeks after Israeli PM Bennett was in UAE, and while the Israeli president is in Turkey and the IDF CoS is in Bahrain, the Israeli foreign minister Lapid is in Jordan meeting its King.

The Muslim and Arab world in its true face.

Regarding what the USA said, that Al-Qurashi ‘killed himself and his family’ by detonating an explosive device he was wearing, this is misinformation. His body is intact, with only bullet wounds to the back of his head. No signs of any body damage. See image…

Although the Israeli Knesset goes into recess tomorrow, the Israeli lawmakers ensured to stay up late and work on a law that bans Palestinian families' reunification (between West Bank, 1948 lands, and Gaza).

This law affecting tens of thousands has just PASSED.

⋯ The spy, Wissam Hassan Hamzeh, said that a Mossad agent (“Samir”) contacted him via email, after he applied for a job on an online website.

(Thread continues below)
😁4
⋯ On their 3rd contact, “Samir” revealed that he's a Mossad agent, and asked Wissam to work with them, giving him 15 days to think over it. Wissam agreed.

Then, “Samir” asked to buy specific hardware (phone, USB, SIM cards and a laptop) and to create a Skype account with “David”, a middleman. He also asked to get a VISA card from a specific store in Tariq Al-Jadida (Beirut) and bring it to Jordan. When Wissam reached Jordan, a taxi man was waiting at the airport (also a Mossad agent), took Wissam to a hotel and gave him some hardware, including a pair of sneakers that he was asked to wear when meeting with “Daoud”.

When Wissam met “Daoud”, he was put on a lie detector. After he passed, he was taught how to gather intel, and how to send and receive encrypted messages.
👍3
⋯ When Wissam came back to Lebanon, he was given 5 intel gathering missions in Beirut:

• The 1st mission was going back and forth between Galerie Semaan and Al-Kafaat while filming the course, and then sending it.
• The 2nd mission was the same, but between Galerie Semaan and Al-Hadath.
• The 3rd mission was taking pictures in ABC Ashrafieh Mall and of its surroundings.
• The 4th and 5th were for taking pictures of restaurants in Dahyeh.

⋯ Another spy, Ahmad Salem Qanatawi, contacted the Mossad through the results he found on Google.
😢1
⋯ It wasn't long until he was asked to send his information via email. He was called by “Amir” (who had a Palestinian accent) and was asked to do work for them.

Ahmad filmed different places, notably a pharmacy in Tripoli and the City Mall in Dbayeh. He was taught via video-call how to photograph professionally. After a while, “Amir” sent him from a Jordanian number an order to spy on a gas station in Dahyeh (Beirut). Ahmad was asked to photograph it and its workers, and inquire on their nationalities, names, work schedules, customers, especially priests and sheikhs, with their cars and plates. Then, another request via Whatsapp to spy in Abbasiyeh (south Lebanon), where a large piece of land is located with heavy machines and equipment. Ahmad photographed it from all angles. Then, in Al-Jiyeh, Ahmad was led to a black case with 5000$ inside, where he was asked to buy a drone with a camera to photograph places in Tripoli.

On 15/12/2021, he left for Jordan where he met “Amir”, and was taught how to gather intel.
👍2
⋯ And after he passed the lie detector test twice, he was congratulated.

“Amir” revealed to him that he was a veteran of the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon.
